Hi France, I started yesterday to loose 80 pounds. So far so good. I have walked and stayed on a counting calorie fat free diet. I hope I can continue. Night eatin is my downfall.

Welcome to DT Snowcap. I'm 55 and holding> :)
I have to lose 40lbs. but from my all time high of 115 that is not a lot to me but just as hard. It just comes off so much slower than in the younger days! I think you'll find a lot of help and inspiration here and try to make small goals like 5 or 10 lbs. That way it doesn't look like such a long way off. You can do it one meal one day at a time!

Snowcap,I also struggle with evening munching so I always save some calories from the day and enjoy a treat of something at night...I'm trying to stay around 1400 cal/day...not counting anything else...just calories...it's working for me....I don't feel deprived....welcome, glad to have you...

Snowcap I have a problem with night eating to. I think its because I watch T.V. at night, and they have all those comericials with all that food. If I stay away from the tube I do a lot better. :( Frances has a good idea, since Im on w.w. I think Ill save some points for a snack at night. I could just stay on the computer all night, that will keep my hands busy teehee. ;) foxie granny
