I would love to chat with anyone who has just started their weight loss plan and has lots to lose. I have 130 pounds to lose, started on Monday and have lost 2 lbs.

Congrats on your loss of 2 lbs. Keep going and you will have it all gone. It is a struggle and I have been there. I have lost 90 lbs. We are all here for support and encouragement. Keep coming and posting. You will love the people here.

Hi Lori - I just "restarted" last Monday too and have about 130 left to go too.(I have not weighed myself yet as I am waiting for Monday, but I have followed my plan 100% so hopefully I will have something to e mail about.) I would be happy to help you along and have you help me. Please e mail me anytime you need someone to talk to and maybe we can get through this together.

Hi Lori,
The new way of eating for me is wonderful. I feel much better about myself. I started eating the Atkins way on May 8, 2000 and to date I have lost 15 pounds. The pounds are small but the inches I have lost mean more to me. So keep up the good work...

I have over a hundred to lose also... it can be difficult to stay motivated, believe me.. but there are all kinds of wonderful people here to offer support. One day at a time, we all can get there!

I'd be more than happy to offer support, and could use it as well. I find that just talking to others and helping them with their problems with weight loss reminds me of the reasons it is so important to my own health! I started at 278 in december, and today weighed in at 243 (it is, however, 11 pounds heavier than I was last month...grrrrrrrrr) But, I'm willing to call it a minor setback, and I think 1 step back periodically isnt such a big deal, as long as I can follow it up with another 2 steps forward! Right now my goal weight is 140 (It may change later, but I have no idea what I look like as a thin adult... so we'll have to play it by ear..haha)... which makes my ultimate goal about 104 pounds. Let's just all stick together, and change our lives for the better. We're ALL worth it! OH... and as Richard Simmons says: "NOTHING tastes as good as being lean and healthy feels!"
