View Full Version : How are all you "100 Plus-ers" doing out there?
Marianne 07-15-00, 02:09 PM Well, I was just wondering how all of you in the hundred plus club are doing? I know there a few of you out there, and would love to hear from you. I know how overwhelming it can be to need to lose over a 100 lbs. I did alright this week. I binged a few times this week. I mean sometimes, I just feel so out control! I weighed in today. I lost 1 pound since my last weight in two weeks ago. I know it's still a success, but sometimes one is such a lonely number. Hope to hear from you. Success to all.
Marianne

Marianne 07-17-00, 12:06 AM Hi Janene,
Well, I started out somewhere between 295 and 300 pounds. I started out weighing myself on a really old scale so I don't know exactly where I started off. My last weigh in on Saturday was 263 pounds. I can't even imagine how great it must feel to be 150. I know if I keep it up and keep coming to DT, I will know exactly how 150 feels someday. I haven't been here at DT for long, but I love it so far! Hope you have a great week, and I wish you much success in your weight loss journey. See ya!

phyllis 07-19-00, 12:04 AM I can proudly say I've now got 124 lbs to lose instead of the 130 lbs 2-1/2 weeks ago. It's rough, but it's happening.
Congratulations and hang in there--that's 1 less pound to worry about!

Hi there guys - I am a 100lber - I started out at 320+ am currently down to 270 - hang in there it can be done, it just takes time and a lot of hard work. It does get better - not always easier - I still have plenty of binges - 4 days in a row this week - but then I hop right back on and start going again.
Good luck everyone and keep up the good work :)

Marianne 07-19-00, 01:04 AM Hi Janene, Phyllis, and AZgirl! Nice to meet you, and glad to hear all of you are having success in your weight loss. It is difficult, but I think that I have also found that if you do fall off, the secret to success in the long run is not to give up. As long as you get up and keep trying, you're sure to reach your goal. I saw a friend of mine that hasn't seen me in about a month and a half. She told me how great I look and that I look considerably smaller than the last time she saw me. It's so nice to see someone notice my weight loss finally! I haven't lost all that much weight, but it still feels like a big success. Good luck to all in the 100 lb. club, and here's to seeing all those pounds disappear!

Dear Everyone,
I started over the weekend. I don't even know If I know what starting over is. My head is still swirling with this diet, that diet program.
How do you all do it? does each one have their own plan and we use this site for the emotional support? Do we tell people what we are going to eat?
I just wanted to know how to best use this site.
Thanks
RAmsey

hinchley 07-31-00, 01:15 PM Hi Ramsey,
All you really have to do is drink about a 64oz of water a day and eat whole wheat items like rice, cereal, etc. i eat stirfrys, cut back on fat. I don't feel cheated at all. But i do crave things just like you,if anything just have alittle and than you won't be sorry. I belong to a program called TOPS and you just learn to eat right it's not a diet. Hope this helps a little. Lori

sisnelly 08-13-00, 01:44 AM I just started 4 days ago and am feeling great about my success so far, I enjoy the feeling of control I get when I do good. I do not know if I have lost any weight, but I do know that I have had some really great days.

Marianne 08-13-00, 02:23 AM Hello Sisnelly. Yes. I do agree that the feeling you have when you get control over you body again is terrific. Being out of control can really put a damper on so many other aspects of your life. Well,my life anyway. When my eating is out of control, so is my whole life. It's kind of sad to say, but if I let it, food can totally rule my life. It definitely is a tough fight sometimes, but NOT impossible. I have my weak moments...that's for sure. I wish you the best of luck on this weight loss journey. I know we can all come out winners in the end. The greatest lesson to be learned in this journey is that it's not impossible.....especially with everyone here to help you up. I hope everyone is doing well. We can make it guys!
