Hi guys, I'm new to this website but I can already tell I like it. My goal was to lose weight over the summer but in 2 and a half months I've only lost 7 pounds because I just can't seem to find anything that works.
I still have to lose about 15 pounds and I don't have much time to do it. So I was just wondering if you guys would share any of your secrets with me?

sorry everyone, i know the weight I have to lose doesn't even compare to what you guys are all trying to lose. So I'm sorry if you started reading mine thinking you could relate to me and it ended up you coundn't. If you wasted your time reading mine I apoligize, but I figure were all trying to do the same thing no matter how much weight were trying to lose it is still hard even if it is just five pounds.

Hi there! I am pretty new to the diettalk site too, and I was just looking through it when I saw your posting. You are in the 100+ group, which is support for those with a bit more to lose - i.e., over 100 lbs. You're right, we all do have the same goal - to be losers, but each section of this web-site is targeted towards specific diets and groups. I have posted some on the Shakers board, since I use Slim-Fast (I have about 15 lbs more to go myself). You might be able to relate to a specific section depending on the program/diet you use.
In the mean time, my advice is for you to set reasonable goals (2-3 lbs a week is healthy and will lead to more long-term loss), exercise, and drink lots and lots of water. Good luck with your loss, and hope to see you again on diettalk.
