Hi, I'd seen the post for 100+ and it is a very good idea. So now I'm posting for those of us with 200+ to lose. That's right.200+ It's not a typagraphical error. We're out there and need support. Let's help each other out. I have already chatted with a few of you. Let's hang together and just see how much we can accomplish. Talk to you more later. Sally

I think it's great they have a 200 plus now. I started with 166lbs to lose and felt pretty alone. But I have started down the road to sucess and so can all of you. It's amazing what all this support can do for a person and helping others out makes one feel so confident (something the world doesn't let overweight people do). Way to go and you can do it! Best of Luck to All!

Hi...I started with just over 200 pounds to lose. I use the Weight Watchers program for my eating plan. I have lost 26.8 pounds thus far. My WW goal is to get down to 140 pounds which would be a loss of 196.6 pounds. My ultimate goal though is to get down to 130 pounds which would be a loss of 206.6.

Hi Sally

It is so good to see this forum here. Thasnks for starting it. I also am trying to lose at least 200 pounds. I have been following ww 123 since Jan of 1999 and have lost 56 pounds. Had a bit of a set back from Aug to Dec and had regained some of the initial weight I had lost so I had to lose it again. Now I am on the way to losing beyond the initial weight loss. I am hoping this year will be a bit easier.

With support from all who post here I am sure it will be possible. Let's keep those numbers going down.

Hello! This is all very new to me. I have never written on a message board and yesterday was my first day in the chat room. Everyone was so nice. I want to lose 266 pounds and have lost 40 pounds. But each day is such a struggle not to eat. But I plan on persevering. Good luck to everyone!

Hi suz

I see you live in Fl so do I. Where do you live? I am on the East coast in Plam Beach County. I also should lose about 266 pounds but I am looking at 150 pounds first. If Icould weigh now what I weighed when I moved to this coast 13 years ago I would be very happy. Once there I will reexamine my situation and decide at that time if I want to go lower.

The main goal for me is to be able to walk again so I don't have to use the electric scooter to get around. However if it weren't for this scooter I would not be working or going shopping, so I am grateful that I have it.

Hope you are doing well. What program are you following? If you or any of the others would liek to privately email please feel free to do so. I can use all the buddies I can to help me get down this road to a slimmier, healthy and sexier Belle.

Keep smiling :)

Belle, thanks so much for your reply. Unfortunately I will not be able to correspond for a while. I have been using my computer at work and I am no longer able to do so. I plan on purchasing a computer for home and will go on line as soon as it is set up. Good luck to you and everyone. Suz

You're right - it is a shame. My official goal is 175, but I'm really hoping to get down to 135 eventually. And I do mean eventually. My plan is to eat what a 135 pound woman would in terms of calories, and to eat a healthy balanced diet with lots of fruits and veggies - and to do that for the rest of my life.

So far it's working. I started mid January and you can see from my ticker below that I'm making good progress. The best part is that I finally feel calm and at peace with myself. I can have a cookie. I can go out for dinner. I'm not expecting miracles, I'm prepared for bad days, and I know it's going to take a long time. But every day I'm getting healthier and healthier and because I'm not on a strict plan, I don't have to worry about 'breaking the rules' and it's easier.
