"If You Don't Know Where You're Going You Probably Won't Get There"

This is my first journal entry. My first goal is to lose 10 pounds by the end of February. I have joined the 90-day Taebo workout challenge, and am on day#5.

It feels GREAT to have followed through with this commitment. I need all the support that I can get, because I have 99 lbs to lose. It has meant so much to read about and connect with some of the people who have come before me and either successfully reached their goal(s) or are on their way. I find the people here at diettalk supportive, and fun.

Thanks to the many, kind people here who have written me. I'm looking at my commitment to my food plan and exercise as things I do "no matter what"- like brushing my teeth, (THE ONE SELF CARE THING I HAVE CONSISTENTLY DONE!).

I'm scared but I am determined....

Hi Lisa V and welcome to DT :) So glad you are here and I'm sure you will get as much motivation and inspiration that I have gotten here so far. I think that you will definitely be able to meet your goal, no matter how much time it takes. If you have the 4 Ds then you can do it :) The Taebo sounds fun, great exercise.

Talk to you later,
Kristy

It sounds like you're doing great. :)
This is only my forth day on diet talk, but already it's been a huge help.
It's great that you're so determined!
God bless
