Well, here I am again. Square one. Like every other time, I'm going to try really hard to stick with it. We'll see what happens. Here I am, starting at 220#s...I'm going to try to make it down to 180 by the time I have to be a bridesmaid at the beginning of September. I'd love to be able to wear a 14/16 dress. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me...

Hello flyaway! I'm new here too, I registered on 1/31. Since then I've lost 6 pounds!!!

Everyone here is really great. Everyone is supportive and friendly. I started my own journal here too, called "Balebis's First Journal." I really feel like I can do it this time because of everyone here. Every morning now I've been excited to fill out my journal, even if there's some not so great stuff in it.

I've learned 2 important things that may be helpful to you:

1. Drink lots of water--I've been drinking 1/2 ounce for every pound I weigh. It really fills me up and makes me full after every meal. I've been averaging 96 ounces a day.

2. Don't give up. Even if you splurge or binge (I had some hot chicken wings the other night--353 calories!!), you can always start new the next day. One binge will mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, but stopping your diet after the binge will mean everything.

We are all here for you! And we know you can do it. You just have to remember that we're all pulling for you. Good luck, flyaway!

I just wanted to pop in and WELCOME you. You can do this! I agree with Julie, One big lesson learned for me in the last week is LOT OF WATER, I half beleived it till I came to a point where I gained two pounds instead of lost, Turned out it was just water. So Drink up, And Good Luck on your Journey to a new You.
