View Full Version : Big Let Down
babywolf 03-26-02, 09:36 AM Yesterday i eat 4 slices of cheese pizza....not good.
Have to get back on track, have to stay focuss,i let myself down.
Today i am going to look for some excercies to do that will not interfeer with my health problems.I am going to and i am going to beat this.
Have to get focuss and to work on this one day at a time.
I let myself down and now is the time to dust myself off and go on .
I am getting tierd of all this and now it is time to fight back with everything that i have left inside of me to fight back with,my soul, heart and piece of mind.
I AM GOING TO WIN THIS FIGHT.

luke awol 03-27-02, 11:16 AM I did the walking thing for the first 3 months of my weight loss journey. It's definately a good start. I would walk 30 minutes very very quickly during my lunch hour. Then I joined a gym and haven't looked back. I enjoy doing so much more than walking now... and I can run with ease. Keep up the good word, and expand your exercises some to help your body push itself.
babywolf 03-27-02, 12:04 PM Thanks Luke and yes i am going to do new excercise once i talk to my doctor.
Right now i am thinking about an excersise bike and some sit ups for my tummy and the bike for my legs.
Thanks for the support

luke awol 03-27-02, 08:13 PM Remember, while doing situps does make muscle, it's more often the case that we get discouraged, because muscle develops *under* the fat.. so you won't see it until all the fat is gone! So it's best to get rid of the fat before trying to build too much muscle in any one place. :)
babywolf 03-28-02, 07:24 AM thanks Luke and yes i will go at it slowly and again thanks.
I had a great day yesterday and stayed pretty well on my diet, and took in a good walk as well.

luke awol 03-29-02, 10:57 AM Babywolf,
While you are dieting, try to think of this as a lifestyle change. When people diet, it's usually short term and they return to old eating habits. If you see this as a lifestyle change, then you can eat that slice of pizza.. that oreo cookie.. and not feel guilty. It's about balancing what you want with how much you need.
I still have issues with feeling guilty when I eat out. Slowly working my way toward food and emotional balance!
babywolf 03-29-02, 02:05 PM Thanks luke and i see myself changing for the good and healthier as well.
Yesterday we went and bought 2 books one is Jonny Bowder - shape up workbook and the other is Food and Nutrition Guild.
I am starting to excercise slowly until my bodie gets use to it and ater it gets over the shock of the change of food and my eating habits as well lol
again thanks
Ray
