I had a thought this morning that many of us seniors might be interested in. Many seniors have problems exercising because of various reasons, either health or something else. My thought was that we could add to this thread every day for at least the month of May and share what we are doing for our exercise.
For my exercise for today I did the Leslie Sansone 1 mile Walk Away the Pounds walking tape. Please let us all know what you have done. :ex:
That would be a great idea. Although I'm not a senior but my white hair says something different, I think that would be cool for everyone to do.

For my exercise this morning ..... I went walking with Les (my hubby) and later on this evening I will use the Leslie Sansone Walking 40+ tape for 30 minutes.

Last night I did about 1/2 of the Leslie Sansone 1 mile walking tape for a total of 1.5 miles yesterday. I will do the 1 mile tape this evening. That makes 2.5 miles so far this week.
Hope there are others that will join us.

The only walking I did was from the parking lot at my doctor's office (podiatrist) to the building and back to my car...... so I am not counting that..
In another hour I will be doing the Leslie Sanson 40 + Walking Tape for 30 minutes.

This morning I did the Leslie Sansone 1 mile walking tape. I had to go in to work early today and played cards with friends tonight so I am late posting. Have a wonderful day.

I don't work on Fridays and I have come down with a cold. I spent a very lazy day today and did no exercise. I hope to walk outside with a friend tomorrow. Hope you are doing great.

Hi Everyone,
I went out with a friend today and we walked approximately 1.5 miles. We walked along the Erie Canal and also in a mall. It was a cool but sunny day. We would have walked further but my cold has left me a little weak so I didn't try to go too far.

Monday, I walked for 30 minutes with my sister.
Tuesday, When my husband got home from work we went shopping for lawn & deck supplies. I did alot of walking around in the stores.

Did alot of walking today at greenhouse & plant nursery. Was there two hours, picking out a flowering tree for our front yard & shrubs for in front of our deck. It got a little hot out there, so I did sweat some. I was very tired when I got done.

Well I am finally over my cold and back on the exercise track. My exercise for this past week was:
Saturday - Walked with friend about 1.5 miles.
Monday - 1 mile Leslie Sansone tape.
Wednesday - 1 mile Leslie Sansone tape
Thursday - 1 mile Leslie Sansone tape.
Friday - Walk around neighborhood approximately 1 mile.
Total for the week 4.5 miles.

Hi,
I spent a bunch of time in my yard doing some serious gardening yesterday. Today, started painting the cupboards in the laundry room and baby sat my three year old grandson-not much there, he is a bit on the quiet side.
Tomorrow, need to get back to the yard.

My exercise for the past week are as follows:
Saturday - Walked with a friend approximately 3 miles.
Sunday - Walked with another friend approximately 1 mile
Monday - 1 mile Leslie Sansone Tape and walked in mall where I work approximately 1/2 mile.
Tuesday - Walked in mall approximately 1/2 mile
Wednesday - 1 mile Leslie Sansone tape and about 3/4 mile walk in the mall.
Thursday - 1 mile Leslie Sansone tape and about 3/4 mile walk in the mall
Friday - 1 mile Leslie Sansone tape and worked in garden about 2 hours.
I am tired just reading it but it felt really good.
I have not been doing much with the exercise lately. I have been having new tile put into my bathroom and feel strange doing Leslie Sansone with the tile man there. I have still been walking during my 15 minute break at work, but that is about all. I did walk about 1 mile with a friend on Saturday. I have also been working more hours at work the past 2 weeks. I usually work 4 - 5 hour days but the past 2 weeks I have put in 7.5 hour days. I will make an effort to get back to it this next week.
