Well day one of my long journy to a new and healthy me. I went to the gym today afterwork and it feels SO GREAT :) I am excited to meet with the personal trainer on
Tuesday. I am excited to see what she has to say.

I only jogged for 20 minutes, but that is better then no minutes!!

I feel like I have finally decided that body weight doesn't matter, but it is all about feeling good about yourself and being healthy. Numbers are such a bad thing. I think that I put too much energy worry about gaining .5lbs:ha:. If I weigh what I weigh now and it is all muscle then who cares.

Welcome to Journals Hydro. 20 minutes jogging is awesome. you are doing great. I agree with what you say about the numbers. The scales is not always the best judge. It is a matter of being healthy. There are other ways to measure your progress. Take some mesurements. That is a neat way to do it.
Have a great time with the personal trainer. I'm sure you will learn alot of things. :)

I am so sleepyI-) I have been up since 5am this morning and I just got back from working out:ex: I didn't want to go, but I did--yeah for me. I didn't get on the treadmill, but I did swim 10 or so laps. What do you guys think about swimming in reguards to working out. I don't know how to feel about it yet. But your advice would be great!!

My goal for this week is to drink more water:water: !!! I barely drink two glasses a day...if I am lucky. I have never been much of a water drinker, but who says I can't start now?!

Well I gotta go to bed, my allergies are KILLING meX-( !!! GO AWAY HAY FEVER GO AWAY!!

Swimming is awesome excercise! It works all your muscle groups next to running it burns the most calories of any sport! Way to go you! Last time I went swimming I could only do 6 laps before I wanted to stop and tread water.. granted that was after an hour of water aerobics and playing marco polo with 12 year old boys LOL:laugh: but still! (also it was my first time swimming in a year or so!)

You keep up all the good work! Jogging, swimming .. pretty soon you'll be fit for a triathalon!:D

Hey GoGetter,

I had to stop so many times after a lap to rest for a couple of minutes. It was hard work, but FUN:)

I am going to meet with a personal trainer today at 4 and I am so excited:lift: I will let you know how it went

I worked out afterwards and felt so invergerated!! I love to be healthy! I have commited to working out at least 4 times a week and not to get on the scale for one month eeeekkkk - we'll see how it goes.
