Had wonderful day today. My dietician came and I lost another lb! Yippee! Really trying to watch it!
I can relate to Wanderer being scared the first time on doing a journal. I was so nervous, I put my 1st journal in the Seniors's Journal!LOL. But I'm sure no one minds. It's so great that we all can relate to one another and help and encourage one another here. We all are going through the trials and tribulations of trying to lose weight. We all have our ups and downs and our frustrations. We can make each other laugh and we have a shoulder to cry on here. What a gift I got when I joined Diettalk. And so many people have helped me just by listening.
Today I did 1 hour of swimming and then came home and started working on a table I'm redoing. Put in 1/2 hour of decorative painting. Got my hair cut! Yippee! Now I can see..lol.
Made a Crock Pot of Homemade Chicken and Rice Soup.
Going to make some Homemade Tortillas with cinammon and Splenda sprinkled on. Yumm.......good.
Time for supper....and then rest until Monica's chat tonight

GREAT JOB ON THE 30 lb weight loss!!!! You are really doing it!

I'm glad you decided to journal, it's a great way for each of us to really get to know each other. I saw you in chat tonight, I hope you keep coming...it was my first time in chat too.

So what exercise program do you do? If you walk, you should check out the walking forum over in Exercise, great bunch of people!

Anyway, glad to have you here and I wish you MUCH success! Never give up!

Hi, Sasha! Welcome to the journals forum... glad you finally made it here!! :D Your day does sound terrific. I know when I get a haircut especially it makes me feel really good and I believe somehow I can do more... why is that? LOL!

Don't be nervous about journaling. It can be so helpful! When you get replies to your posts you'll feel surrounded by friends and it will be a comfort and a help. When you're having problems it can be hard to write about it but you'll find it's therapy, and again, the warm responses help you get through your troubles. We are here for you whatever you need; good times and tough ones! :up:

WELL IT IS ABOUT TIME.. Sasha.. that you decided to join us here.. you know I would Nag Nag and Nag some more til you finally had NO CHOICE .. but to start journaling..

Congrats on your pound.. that.. is no longer hanging around your.. waist.. legs.. neck.. or arms.. LOL.. Swimming really does help you not only.. getting out and getting exercise.. but also.. it helps.. keep your mind of food.. for an hr.. LOL.. and gets you out of the house.. LOL

Tonight I walked about a mile.. first time.. I walked a mile around the Middle School Track.. but.. I walked on the OUTSIDE.. not the inside .. do I get credit.. for.. lol.. 2 miles.. LOL. I went by myself.. because Papa was watching the Seattle Mariners play the Cardinals.. and.. The Mariners Won.. so.. I won't have to probably listen to his snoring.. lol tonight..

Tomorrow. hopefully we will get my dresser that has been in storage.. for almost 4 yrs.. and.. my grandmother's dressing table.. here in the house.. We really MUST refinish my grandmothers dressing table.. but.. we are not.. familiar with how to do that.. (can I pick your brain.. LOL)

Well, as I told you, I haven't been sleeping well.. the last couple of nights.. so after my shower.. I think I am going to crawl into bed.. I may make it before.. Papa... tonight..

Welcome sasha I know what you mean by being scard to reach out but now that you have doesn't it feel good. This is a great palce to help each other with a pat on the back or a shoulder to cry on. With help and knowing you are not alone we will all win and beat this. CONGRATS on the 30lbs weigh loss and swimming for an hour I would come out looking like a prune.

Hi Sasha,

Jus~dropping in to say Hi.. even though we try to chat almost daily.. LOL

I hope you are able to get to your camp.. this week.. but.. you put the suggestion of us getting some rain.. and.. we're getting it today and showers again tomorrow.. Not complaining.. we desparately need the rain..

Today I go and meet my dietician.. and maybe she will give me some great ideas to get me back on track... It will be a different experience.. for me..

I looked online and there are several jobs that I am qualified to do.. so.. when I go to Medford today, I will be checking the jobs out.. Still holding out for H & D but.. can't wait forever.. especially with our.. upcoming event.. :)

hello sasha. greatvjob on the 30 pounds lost and gone for good. journaling is so important. it does feel good to share with people and is very good therapy for the soul. it helps me so much to journal. well have a good night.
