GooooooooooooooD Morning Snow Angels,

Yes it is a good morning and going to be a super duper weekend!! Why? Because we are all going to work at it and make it a great weekend.

Got up early this am!! I love seeing the morning sun and feel the quietness of the day. Very peaceful. Don't hear anything but the birds and smell the morning coffee. Time to pull my thoughts together for the day. Now I make plans for the day but first enjoy the peacefulness.

Plans for the day:
1. Stay on program.
2. Drink lots of water--64 oz to be exact.
3. Rest hip and back and maybe try walking later.
4. Cook a meal for hubby--that should surprise him.
5. Watch Wimbledon Tennis.
6. clean kitchen and bathroom
7. Make a meatloaf.
8. Remember to give my sons a big hug.
9. Take me time today
10. Enjoy being alive!!!!!

Yes I am ready to start this day and make it a special day. Do not allow anything to spoil my day!! Watch out for the munchies. They tried to stop over last night but I turned out the lights and they left. So LOCK the doors and be on the lookout!!

Well Angels I had to rethink my goal for 44 lbs by Dec31. I want to make sure I have a realistic goal and an achievable goal. I have decided to modify my goal and set my goal for 25 lbs instead of 44. If I lose a pound a week then I will have lost 24 lbs before Dec 31. We all know that we should lose between 1 and 2 pounds a week. However there will be weeks that we don't lose. That is just a fact. So I do not want to set myself up for failure. If I happen to lose more than 25 lbs then great!! I feel it is important to state realistic gaols!!

Now having said that I am ready to start the day and get that pound off!! WE can do this. We will do this All we have to do is set our minds on go and do it!! I challenge each and everyone of you to stay on your program today and JUST DO IT!!!!!!!

We are winners!! We can accomplish anything!! Going to do it !!Going to do it!!!

Come on Snow Angels make it the best day yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning Lizzie!
I posted on yesterdays thread, then hit the track. I am SO glad to have that done! I got in 2.25 miles! woohoo! The most I've gotten in over a year! Only 1.5 to make my 12 mile goal for the week. My body was whining before I got home but I feel fine now.

I too, am ready to get on with the day! It's back to work for me this morning after 3 days off.

I have a plan.......for each pound of weight I lose between now and my Birthday (Dec. 13th) I will give 1 # of food to the local food pantry. So whether it's 24 ( a pound a week) or more........that amount will go in my box. As I started at 210, I made a deposit yesterday. I would be thrilled of course to drop a bunch.....as incentive and jump start, but will just appreciate what "goes" in any amount!

Today I will:
1) Get some exercise
2) Drink my water
3) Plan my meals
4) Avoid eating while watching TV: How about avoiding TV? LOL!
5) write in my journal
6)BEHAVE myself!

Hello Lizzie and Brenda~~ well i agree with Liz i too am losing really good but dont want to set myself up for failure with an unrealistic amount so i am changing my loss from 50 pounds by dec 31 to 30 pounds. if i lose more than great.
Brenda what a kind,generous thing to donate the food. that is wonderful idea to do.
well i am going swimming in a bit so im off to do my journls. my goals for today are:
1. eat within my points
2. drink all my water
3. ride my bike(done)
4.exercise in the pool
5.give hugs to kids and my man too
6.help my sister get hooked on to her computer
7.enjoy the day with kids,hubby,sis and my niece

I like you idea so much that I am going to do the same thing!! I will donate to the Soup Kitchen!! I use to all the time when I worked but forgot about them until this morning!! Been donating the Homeless Shelter buy now will give to the church for a while. Wish I could give to all of the places that need help but one at a time.

Yahoooooooooooooooooooo Brenda doing 2.25 miles Yeaaaaa!!.
Need to try and walk the 4 blocks this am oops it is already 90 maybe I will wait till later and gte my stationary bike about 40 minutes!! Doesn't hurt my hip to sit down and pedal so I will do that!


Cool Sandy glad to see you modify your weight loss goal to 30 lbs!! Super!! Swimming!! I would love to swim just once more. Can't go into a pool with chlorine my hair will turn green!! Yikes!!!!!!!!

Well back to getting some things done!!

Good Morning Snow Angels,
Well my family is on vaction and I'm home alone PARTY OVER AT MY HOUSE!!!! Just kidding I don't think my mom would like that. Well despite the fact that I was sleeping this morning I woke up at 4:00am because I heard everybody getting ready to leave. Around 4:45am my family took a limo to the airport and at that time the butterflys in my stomach started flying around. Right now I'm not nervous at all about being alone in the house. Hopefully tonight and the rest of the week will run smoothly. Ok I know my new rule is no tv watching until after I workout, but this morning at 4:00 I didn't feel like working out, so I did watch tv for a few hours. Then by 7:00 I got into my workout clothes and by 8:00 I was finished with my workout. Today I toned my lower body and I did Richard Simmons dance your pants off viedo. Here are my goals for today.

1. wash my clothes
2. eat within my daily points range
3. drink all my water
4. workout (finished)
5. write in my journal

Ok..now that I am done reading these I to am thinking i should change my Dec goal. It was 40 pounds, I think I will change it to 25. I really do not want to fail..........so thats done. I think the donation idea is very thoughtful, good for you guys!!!
Today:
work out 30 minutes
drink 64 oz or more of water
eat 5 servings of veggies or fruit
dont peek anymore at the scale.....) ok..I peeked earlier and it was down 1.5, but I do not weigh in until Monday)

I really should change my weigh in days to midweek. I have the hardest time on the weekends staying within points.

Me too Christine that is why I keep my weigh in day on Sunday. I did have Monday as weigh in day but having Sunday helps me stay on points better. Plus I weigh in on Wednesday for Snow Angels. So that is twice a week I have to be accountable. Helps me also stay on track.

Do not know what I was thinking when I ate ice cream with choc syrup on it today. That cost me the rest of my points. Looks like a zero point salad for dinner tonight! I was hoping for a healthier eating day!!

Excellent Katherine doing all your exercising!! Hope you have a super week !! Wow your family going to gone all weeek? Be nice to have the house all to yourself!! Enjoy!!

Hi all!
Had a good/busy day at work and 5:00 came right on time!
I'm debating whether to go dancing or not. I've gotten in the ahbit of staying home weekends that I have to MAKE myself go out!! I used to go 2 or three nights a week.

Great Lizzie! Donations to the soup kitchen! I do the Food for Fines at the Library....take stuff in whether I owe fines or not just 'cuz I love to give when I can. Sound like you do too! I give stuff to Goodwill too when I do my closets.....about three times a year. They need my attention NOW!

I too will "lower my expectations!" We'd all like to wake up at goal weight Monday but since that only happens in my dreams and not very often, I'll make my goal #170 instead of 150 for a total of 39. Now THAT sounds do-able!!

Great job everyone on the food plans and exercise! WE ARE GOOD, yes we are!!

I'm actually looking forward to doing my walk in the morning and making my goal. It's only been tough a couple of times but I got SOME in every day and that is certainly a first! This might become fun yet! Thanks for all the hooyahs!!! You are a spectaculer bunch!!

Have a great evening........yeah......guess I'll go ahead and go out. Hmm one dance =2 minutes PLUS is good for a hug or two and we all need 8 a day for good emotional health ya know! Get 'em where ya can! LOL!

Good Sunday morning!
Well my night on the town lasted an hour but I got 3 dances in and collected 4 hugs. I gave myself the other 4 for the day!
Got my walk in already! YEA!!! I made a goal! I finished something! LOL!
Now I will set my sights on the week ahead.
I need to spend some time in my kitchen, checking frig/freezer/cabinets for meal fixin's. Think I'll make my lentil stew this morning since I didn't do it on my off days. Get a jump start on those veggies!

Hi Snow Angels,
Can you believe it ,the month of June is almost over!! Where did the month go?? Time is flying and reminds me that I really need to buckle down to get to my December Goal!!!!!

So I have joined John's Challenge for July to add Fruits and Veggies to my program. Of course I already do but taking challenge for more motivation to eat fresh and healthy fruits and veggies!!!

For today I am going to:
1. Just enjoy being alive
2. Stay within my points
3. Watch tennis!!!!
4. Drink all the yuckers water!!
5. Have a positive attitude
6. Cook a nice meal for DH-Only day he is home for a nice home cooked meal!!
7. Exercise and be careful with my hip!!!!

Wow I am so excited today!! I can't wait to get started!! Yeaaaaaaaa going to be a great day I can feel it in my bones!!!!

My scales only went down 1 pound this week but I still have till Wednesday to get them down another pound!! Today is my weighin at WW!!!!!!!!!!! Finally within 1 pound of the weight I gained. I am back on track because of you Snow Angels!! You all have accepted the challenge and that gets me all excited when I see others excited about their programs!!!! Woooohoooooo!!

No matter what the scales say I am eating healthy and feeling wonderful. I have more energy and more go power!! My clothes fit so much loser that I am amazed!! Wow what a day this is going to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay I am ready for all the challenges this day will present!! Going to do it!! Areyou with me????????????

Hiya Lizzie and all our other angels!

Had my dinner and ate well/sensibly today. Have my fruits and veggies lined up for the week ahead.
I have a teeny tiny problem.
I find it difficult to get my fruit as I am a breakfast skipper from WAY back. I am determined to ADJUST and make a real effort to change that . I tell myself I'll have some as a snack.....then don't HAVE a snack. It will take some effort to change the way I've eaten in the past...........catsup is a veggie right?
This is where meal planning comes in, huh??
I'm geared to go and have what I need to succeed. Hmmm....think I'll go eat a plum!
