Good Afternoon Snow Angels!!!

Wow finally getting in to post!! Hope you all have had wonderful days and cooler days than we have. Very hot for us in Indiana, well for this house plant anyway!!

I am sorry I am so late starting today but had some computer problems and finally got everything straightened up~~

Well Snow Angels are we ready to get our body and minds moving?? I know I am!! I have my mind working and body is going to follow soon. On a little respite until I get an okay from the doc to attempt any exercises. My little blip with my hip has turned into a major problem and may need some medical intervention or water therapy. Just don't know until all the tests are completed.

So do I throw in the towel and give up???? Ohhhhhhhhhhh nooooooooo I find other ways to exercise. I can still do upper body work and not stress out the hip. Doc agreed to let me try the stationary bike with some care. I am not able to do the Walking Away the Pounds tape have to wait on that. But I will keep trying to think of ways to exercise my body without adding stress.

I also will definitely stay at the lower end of my points to help with the lessening of exercises. So for today I will:
1. stay on program
2. eat more fruits and veggies to meet John's challenge
3. attempt to do mild activity in garden and flowers
4. remember to stay focused!!!
5. Give my visiting grandson a big hug (extra hug)
6. be happy fore it is my choice.

Okay ready to start this wonderful warm day with lots of positive energy and thought!!

I believe in me!! I know that if I put my mind to losing weight I will lose. I know I have issues to deal with and I am doing that. Above all I will keep a positive attitude no matter what!! Come December I will have that 25 lbs GONE!!!

Snow Angels are you up to another day of working at your goals for today??? Then let's do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hang in there the day is half over but we will take advantage of what is left!!!!

Hi Lizzie,

Gee, I finally got in here to answer your post, and this stupid Java thingie told me I had some kind of runtime error and shut down IE, and there went my post with it............bwaaaaa.

I wanted to tell you that this week I woke up Monday morning feeling so good, I put the leash on Emily and at 6 am we were out the door and walking down the road. I had no idea how far we would get, but I started trekking just the same. Well, we managed to get the entire mile walked. 20 minutes out, 20 minutes back. I know, I walk a slow mile, but at least I got it done, right? So yesterday and today I have managed to get in 2 miles now. Boy am I happy about that.

I'm not saying it ain't hurtin none, but I'm learning to deal with it fairly good. I'm starting to believe it's just going to be this way, like it or not.

I'm glad you're seeing the doc about that hip. I also hope the news isn't anything too bad, but something that can be fairly easily treated. Wouldn't that be nice for a change? Well, just like the weight loss, keep positive about that too. It will go well for you, I feel it in my bones.........oh boy, I don't need to feel it there..........hahahaha.

I have a lot of infor to put in my journal, when I can get in there to do it. Last time I tried, I could have walked to your house before the page would have loaded......hahahaa. I know John is having server problems, but I hope it is fixed soon.

Hope to see you in exercise chat tonight. I plan to be there, but that's no guarantee. Last night I fell asleep in my chair at 9:30 pm and didn't wake until midnight. Then I slept till 5 am, and then up, out and the day was begun. Got a lot done too. Feeling really good these days. Might be hurting some, but something deeper is feeling great...........haha.

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful day!!! I am making small strides today...I am not getting as much accomplished as I had hoped to...but there are still many hours in the day. I did however get my morning exercise done, but I am not sure I can find a babysitter to watch my daughter so I can go to aerobics:( I really want to go too!!! Oh well.....speaking of my daughter....I am almost positive she has the chicken pox:c( She was exposed last Monday. She has blister like bumps on the side of her face, and some on her back. I made her an appointment at the doc tomorrow, so we can verify if that's what they are. I talked to her nurse, and she said that by what I described, sounds like chicken pox. She did have the vaccine, so if that's what they are....she shouldn't get too many. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Better for her to get them now, rather than when she is older.
So as for myself and my goals today.....
Get some laundry done
Drink 96 oz water
stay within 1300-1500 calories
Exercise 2 hrs.....if I don't get to aerobics I will do morning
exercises again this evening
Get my shopping list done....finish shopping tomorrow
Try and get into the exercise chat tonight
Take some time out for ME today....focus time
Give my hubby and daughter a BIG smooch and hug and tell them
both how much I love them
Get some work done aorund the house

I can't think of much more else that I need to get done....

I wish everyone success...we CAN do this, and we WILL!!!!!!!

Lizzie - Sorry that this hip thing has turned into a major ordeal, but I am soooo proud if you for not giving up!!!!! Keep up that attitude......You will make leaps and bounds with it!! :rose:

Sandie - Way to go on getting out there and walking!!! 2 miles in 2 days is an AWESOME start...you should be proud!!!!! Way to go!!! :up: Keep it up!!!!

I hope that everyone else who has not been able to post is doing well.....let's go Snow Angels....Give it your ALL!!!!!!

Hi angels!

Boy have I missed you!! I couldn't get on at all Monday or Tuesday. I thought I had a computer problem! Went to google and saw the site message about the problem and felt better immediatly!
I had reloaded aol, trying to get my java capabilities back....that was a waste of energy but I thought I'd messed something up and was giving me a talking to!

Liz.....please DO be extra careful and allow your body the time to heal. It's so easy to hurt ourself and most times we don't know how so we don't know what to avoid. I wake up sometimes at night, feet flat on the bed, one leg crossed, well eventually one falls and it wakes me up AND hurts but question is.....why am I doing it?? A mystery! You are compromising by knockin' some points off food wise.........you have such a wonderful outlook and positive attitude! You're such an inspiration!

Sandy! Woohoo! I hope the pain will ease up for you soon. Do you have a physical condition causing it? Mine is SO much better and I thank God. Some days I had to really push myself and I was in sad shape when I finished but yesterday was so much better. I pray you improve daily! You too Liz, and I hope the Doc will have good news and you heal quickly.

AJ! Good going! WANTING to go to arobics! LOL! When I started my walking 3 weeks ago that's what I told myself....I was gonna MAKE me go until I WANTED to go and by then it would be a habit!

I made goal for last week of 12 miles. This week I want to do 15. Yesterday I did 3 miles!!!! I was so excited and I wasn't totally exausted and in agony as I was last week. I thanked God all the way home! I walked for 50 minutes! The longest time ever at one time. I got 2.5 on Monday so am off to a great start. I feel better than I have in months. I am doing so good with the July clallenge also. Having no problem getting my veggies.....can ya get TOO much of a good thing? The fruit and eating breakfast are two I'm working on. I've gotten at least 2 a day on the fruit and it too will become easier I'm sure. I am really enjoying my lentil stew! Oh my is it delish!! Packed with protein and fiber too. Why did I wait so long to make it? I'd forgotten how good it is!! I'm doing good on the low sodium too.

To the rest of our wonderful group! Happy Wednesday! Oh yeah!

Weigh in for me..........down 2 pounds!!! I am SO excited to see the scale start moving again! I'm claiming it and changing my stats. Woohoo!

OH.....did I mention, I left eggs boiling on the stove while I went walking yesterday? Came back to a screeching smoke alarm and an apt. full of smoke......nasty way to start the day! Choking as I got my shower! I just thank God that I didn't burn the place up. The pot was a small sacrafice, believe me. Wouldn't ya know they'd wanna do an inspection today? So I did damage control last night and used half a bottle of Febreeze. Even my paperwork was reeking. EEEEEEEK!

Ok...........am a tad lost.....I wanted to change my stats and didn't see "my info". Is that out of commission right now? Am I not looking in the right place...home page?

I'm gonna play in the closet for awhile and probably get a nap before work. It's 3 AM and I woke up at 1:30. Yep.....it's Wednesday!

good morning snow angels~~ didnt make it here yesterday due to the site having problems.
today am going to mall with mom for some clothes and a bathing suit for vacation~~scary! LOL
i rode my bike and did arm wts already so here is my goals for today:

1. eat within points
2. drink lots of water
3. get exercsie walking in mall
4.buy new clothes i like
5. drop off videos at store
6.go to bank
7. sing in jeep on the way there
8.have fune day alone with mom
9.give hubby big kiss tonight and tell him i love him

well i am off to get dressed ad let the shopping begin.....

Wow I should have checked in here before I wrote today's post. Brenda and Sandy you guys are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got me all pumped up with your enthusiasm Yahooooooooooooooo!! Talk about your winners!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo Hooooooooooooo.

Aj, Chicken Pox Ohhhhh Nooooo!!! Well like you said maybe they won't be too bad since she had her shots!! Excellent job on exercise and super goals!!! You are doing such an awesome job !!! You excitement is catching!! Hoope the chicken pox aren't. Can't believe I said that! LOL Yikes!!!!

Sandie, Doing 2 miles is excellenttttt!! My gosh girl that is something to brag about. Good for you!!!!!! Now I hope you didn't push your leg to far. But when you feel like walking I know it is hard to stop. Yahoooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

You guys are so great!! I felt a lot better after reading your posts!! Let's have a super day!!
