Ay caramba. I'm new to this, so let's see what comes out of it. Basically I haven't been faithful to my plan. I've been slacking off, walking slower and sometimes overindulging. It's the start of a new week and here I am.
Well, today didn't go as planned. It rained all day long and it threw me off my schedule. Nontheless, I was able to sneak in a 3-mile walk in the afternoon. I walked and ran, a complete first for me. My boyfriend suggested that I incorporate running to spice things up a bit. I've been walking since November and I must say that sometimes I do get bored. Perhaps the 1-minute running spells will motivate me or at least take some of the boredom away. I've also decided to walk on my own. I can go faster when I do it alone. I want to get back to my 4mph speed. When I walk with friends I tend to walk at 3mph. But we do tend to walk more. But I simply don't have the time for a 2 1/2 hour walk. I will miss the conversation. After my walk today, I did 20 minutes of toning. It's getting easier and I don't feel as sore as I used to before. I love using toning cords.
See you tomorrow, journal.
