Hi, I hope I am doing this right. I just found your site and I love it. It has really gotten me motivated!

Other things have motivated me too. I have lumps under my arm pits. According to the dr they are "fat pads" that have built up under muscle pushing it upward. "Of course a good way to reduce them is to lose weight" he said. DUH!8-|

I asked him what he recommened and he said lower carbs, higher protein, so that is what I am going to do. My husband has about 30 lbs to lose, so he said he is going on it with me! I have been on the Carbohydrate Addicts Diet (Lifespan Program) before, so I know what to expect and am looking forward to it.

I am a SAHM and I homeschool my two oldest children (6 and almost 4, the 2 yr old isn't interested yet!:D ). I have decided to start using our wonderful home gym we bought a couple of years ago, rotating upper and lower body every other day, and only for 30 or so minutes. I know that lifting really revvs up my metabolism, so I know I need to do it.

Well, thanks for listening! Have a great day everyone! Keep up the good work!

Hello and WELCOME TO DIETTALK

I know you will find a lot of support and encouragement from our fellow Diettalkers; and think you will see how great it is to journalize your feelings ..... gives you (or at least I know it gives me) the opportunity to see your changes, progress etc..

AGAIN WELCOME TO DIETTALK .... Always, Monica
