I started actually getting my head on straight about losing weight a week ago and so far have lost 4 lbs. I'm really into this new diet and doing really well with. Actually in the past I had lost 46 lbs and this is now 50 lbs on it. I'm close to my goal but get off track because of my love for food which I need to transfer to God. It is hard but worth it! This week my goal is to get to 137.5 lbs by Saturday week 2. We will see. :bubbles:

Hi Angie! Your bio says you're on the "Weigh Down Diet" -- would you care to share with us what that's about? Congratulations on your weight loss so far! Just remember that slow and steady makes for permanent weight loss, and go easy on yourself! I'm the self-talk Queen, what you say to yourself makes all the difference in the world.

Keep at it! :)

I am where you were at 144 and stuck in the mud. I'd be happy to get to 135, so let the journey begin!

The Weigh Down diet actually is a "religious" kind of diet, but I most of the time just use its formula. You can eat what you want but you have to eat according to your bodies timing and limit. Some say they can't do this kind of a diet because they feel they will binge on their favorite foods or their addiction. Well then say chocolate is your "bad" food. Eat chocolate from morning til evening only eating when you feel physically hungry and stopping when content after about the third time you get hungry you will really want to have a ham and cheese sandwich or something else much better because your body only really craved a small amount of choclate and you fed it a truck load so it repulses it. You don't write anything down to keep track ,even though I'm so tempted to do that everyday! It is the only diet I've been on that helps me not to think of food all the time. There has been some controversy with this diet because of the Founders beliefs but I don't connect myself to that part of the WD. I just want to lose the weight and you don't have to workout(unless it is just for fun and you want to look better and for your health) There is a lot to say about the diet and it could take all day but if you want even more info just ask and I'll give more. :rose:
