Well, I have decided to start a journal, and instead of doing it first thing, I will be doing it at night to keep track of what I have done! LOL

I always have grand plans for my day, write them down, then never do them, so I am focusing on what I DID do, rather than feel bad about what I DIDN'T do.

Breakfast: 1 "Ripums" <1g carbs

Lunch : I was hungry, hubby made me 3 (1/4) lb hamburgers, and I put cheddar cheese on top. I wasn't going to eat all 3, but...... 0g carbs

Dinner....Well We are having pork chops, salad (cheese, cucumbers, dressing, etc) but I haven't decided on my carb yet. I want a sprite, but dunno. Something may hit me right! LOL I am trying to stay away from simple carbs at night...but you know every now and again, you just have to!

I started working on my dungeon (the family room) because we want to get rid of our clutter before we put the house on the market. That was good exercise! Danced with the girls (the 2 and 4 yr olds in my arms seprately), and swam in the pool for a while too. Can you believe my 2 yr old only uses arm floaties and love to jump in, and float on her back???!!!8-} She amazes me all the time! She is more comfortable in the water than the 4 and 6 yr olds!

Well, hope everyone had a great day! Keep up the great work, and keep drinking!:water: :water: :water:

Jenny

Sounds like a start. And exercise is exercise be it lifting 10 lb dumbbells or 22 lb daughter. To maintain it you must do something you like and vary it and sound like the kids are a great start.

Will be watching your success,

Thanks Donna :D

Yes, my kids are GREAT exercise. I always laugh when people say they dance with their kids for exercise....even my dr suggested it and I just said "yeah!" and thought he was looney. Well, after one fast song with the littlest on in arms (about 28 lbs) I was out of breath and had to stop! And just how long are songs, really????8-|

Hope I didn't bore you too much with my message! You have a great night! Get some sleep! You deserve it!

Good morning everyone! Hope your day is going well!

I was going to get up at 6:30 this morning, but I just shut the alarm off! Oh well, tomorrow is another day. I wanted that time before the girls get up so I can plan my day, get breakfast, read the bible, and pray. I will get to bed early tonight so I can do that tomorrow.

Well, so far this morning I HAVE!!!! eaten breakfast! I am so proud of myself! I haven't been doing too well in that department, so I forced myself and am glad I did!

I have a bee in my bonnet today. I really want to get this house sold! Yesterday I had gotten TONS of clothes to give to goodwill! Today I will continue in my efforts! I have to get this clutter out of here!

I have planned exercise for tonight after dinner..... will see how that goes :)

Check in later!

Have a great day everyone!!!

Hi Minnie,

I have 3 girls ages 6, 4, and 2! They sure keep me busy.

I have a Tanita scale that weighs in pounds, or stones (canandian way of weight). I had it set to pounds and one of my sweet darlings switched it to stones! I have misplaced my booklet, so I don't know how to change it back! 1 stone is 14 lbs. so if I was 10 stones, 5 lbs I would be 145 (goal is that or 140). I like stones because I can see the numbers going down and it is like a bunch of mini goals to celebrate at!

CAD is kind of like Atkins, only more flexible. I eat protein and green veggies for 2 meals, and my third meal "reward meal" is even portions of protein, green veggies and carbs eaten in 1 hour. I like having the freedom to eat icecream and cake at a birthday party if I want to!

Those aren't nosy questions, they were things I should have put in my first post! thanks for keeping me honest! LOL

Have a great day! Keep up the great work!

When eating low carb you have to think outside the box! I will even eat soup for breakfast! YUM!!! We like to have breakfast for dinner at our house.....being from the south it is fried eggs, bacon, sausage, bisquits and gravy. Oh....I know what I am having tomorrow night for dinner! LOL

Have a great night!:D

Well, bedtime now! Dinner was 2 hot dogs (in buns with ketchup!) and a glass of lemonade. Not the best, I know, but I was running late to church and had to eat something! Stopped and got some sausage links for breakfast tomorrow! I am looking forward to that and eggs!

I am so tired, just wanted to let you know I stuck to it for dinner too!

Nite all!

Good Morning Everyone!!! Hope your day is going well!

Woke up with hubby at 4am with a migrane, took meds and went back to sleep. Woke up feeling better. Guess I should have eaten more for dinner. huh? Live and learn!

Today I ate breakfast again! I had 2 egss and sausage links! YUM!!! Oh, it tasted so good!

I think lunch will be a chef salad, and I am going grocery shopping today, so will figure out dinner later!

Mom is having surgery today. She is having a cyst removed from her hand. Minor surgery, but she has to be put under, and that can be scary. She should be in it, or practically out of it by now!

Have a great day everyone! Keep up the good work, and Keep drinking:water: :water:  I know I will be!

Well, lunch was NOT a chef salad. It was just grilled chicken strips and some left over sausage links! Grocery shopping wears me out, so when I got home, after 1, I was tired, the girls were hungry, and I didn't want to bother with making a salad. I knew I should have made it up before I went. Will think ahead next time.

My mom is home and resting from surgery. She has 3 stitches that have to stay in for 10 days. The cyst was completely benign, and was only attached to the skin, so no joints or muscles involved.

Water is going good today! I need to go and go soon! LOL

Went to Sams for groceries and got several boxes to start boxing up stuff to give to Goodwill! Will have to get on it after nap....headache again today. I remember the first time I started CAD it took 2 weeks for my headaches to go away completly, so I bet that is what is going on. Hubby is frustrated though, because I haven't gotten much done on the house lately because I don't feel good! Oh well, he will have to deal!

We are going "Camping" in our pop-up trailer tonight in the back yard! The girls are so excited! I know they will have a good time!

Well, have a good day everyone, see ya after dinner!:D

you gotta do what you gotta do, for you!!! you're not worth much if you are in pain or can't function, so take care of yourself 1st!!!
glad your mom made it thru with no complications...that is a huge worry off your mind now!
so now you can have the salad with your dinner, no problem!!
that sounds like fun, camping out but still close to home...you gonna roast marshmallows & tell scary stories??!! the kids will have a blast!!!!

Buji, You are right! I do that too often, though I think!

Time to fess up everyone!

Dinner: I need to remember to eat earlier in the night, because by 8, I am hungry, have a headache, and will not eat the way I am supposed to!

That said Here goes: 2 italian sausages on one hoagie bun with ketchup, white cheddar cheeto's (wayyyyy too many), and rootbeer. So, where are the veggies, you may ask???? In the fridge still!

So, tomorrow is another day! Isn't it wonderful that every 24 hours we get a clean slate? I can't wait!

Keep up the good work everyone! Have a great night!:D

Had a good breakfast this morning! 2 fried eggs and 2 sausage links. If you notice I didn't put how many I had for breakfast yesterday, because I knew I had had too many!

Water is going ok for now.....I have so many vitamins it takes about 4 glasses of water to take them all! LOL BUT they make me feel good, so...they are worth it!

Exercise is the house today. Hubby is home and on a tear about getting stuff outta here! So, I will be working hard today! I got on the scale this morning and saw 17 stones 12 lbs! I have lost 1.5 lbs this week so far! Monday is the official day!

Have a great morning everyone! Keep up the good work! Keep drinking that water!:water: :water: :water:

Hello Everyone!!!

I know, it has been a couple of days.....but when hubby is home, I don't have as much time to get on the computer!:(

My weekend has gone well eating wise.....my scale says I have lost 9 lbs! LOL I posted a message on the Carb diet board if anyone is interested.....it is titled.... Is my scale possessed?? You be the judge!

So, overall I have had a pretty good weekend. Tomorrow is going to be hit it and run day....probably won't check in until evening. We e-mailed a bunch of resumes for my husband today, and I don't want them to get a busy signal and give up! A couple of them were for $80-$115,000 jobs! Wouldn't that be nice! Double our salary! hehehe

Well, time to get going! Have a great night everyone! Keep up the good work!

Buji,

Thanks for thinking of me! I have been SUPER busy this week. We are going to have a birthday party this weekend (my youngest is turning 2!) and I have been not just cleaning, but decluttering and giving away a TON of stuff. Let's just say I have taken 4 truck fulls and one mini van full of stuff SO FAR! I am flabbergasted by all the money we wasted on "stuff" we didn't even use! I took something to Goodwill today that still had the Goodwill sticker on it from when I had bought it! YIKES!!!

No news on the resumes, so I guess no one liked him! Oh well, the right job will come along when God finds it for him!

Well, time to get busy again. I have loafed too much these past few years, it is time to work! :D

Hope things are going well with you! Keep up the good work!
