Due to various factors such as the stress of layoffs and seemingly constant new jobs, which have resulted in my developing a spastic colon, I am now forced to eat enough at each meal. This so far has resulted in my losing 6-8 pounds in 3 months (nice and slow so I can keep it off, I hope!). This is an added bonus, because due to another condition I have, fibromyalgia, I actually am better able to exercise once I lose some weight.
I'm curious if others have had an experience where a non-critical chronic health condition, e.g., spastic colon, leads to unexpected health benefits?
