Hi.. I was just wondering if anyone has lost any weight on Herbalife? There are a few girls at work that are on it and they seem to be losing really good.. And some have even quit for a bit and didn't gain anything back... just wondering

Hey, hate to lay this on you, but here's my story with metabolife, which is pretty much the same thing. You know, skip that. Just remember if you do, do that stuff, you're supposed to take it for three weeks then be off it for three weeks. I gained thirty pounds on that crap because I took it for a year with no on and off. It will screw up your metabolism and it's not regulated by the fda. It can give you heart attacks, strokes, memory loss, ect... But hey, if your gonna do it, I know I can't stop you. There are NO easy solutions. If there was believe me I'd tell you cause I tried them all. All this stuff's gonna do is mess up your body and your life. You can get addicted to those things. If your friends haven't gained any back its just because they've stuck to their dieting or cut back on cals. This pill makes you lose your appitite; when you quit taking it, you'll eat again, period. I don't mean to sound rude, I've just been there, so don't go down the same road I did. Do it the healthy way. It's the only safe, guaranteed way. Good luck and be careful.

jules, I tried Herbalife and I lost really well..... now for the rest of the story. It was so incredibly expensive and there are SO many pills to take in a day, that I decided I just didn't want to spend that kind of money on their products (you always need more than one thing). So I stopped taking it and gained back every pound (12) and every inch (30) in 1 WEEK!!! I was really upset and what a waste of over $200!! I wouldn't recommend that stuff to anyone. I know for me, just sensible, healthy eating has worked with some walking and drinking loads of water. I just am not willing to make someone else rich off of my body! And in some states the herbal concoction has effedra in it which can be dangerous. Here in Ohio they are not aloud to sell it that way, but it is legal in other states. Take care and good luck with whatever you decide to do!

I also tried Metabolife. It does curb your appetite and give you energy. I could only take l/2 pill at a time, they are strong. The problem....just like the others said, when I stopped it my body rebounded and was FAMISHED.....gained it all back. It must put your body in starve mode, which of course makes your body want to eat a lot when you finish. Sorry, no magic pills! Believe me, I tried them ALL!

I tried herbalife and I must have been allergic to something in it. I had really bad chest pains while taking it. I stopped and they pains stopped. So I started again and the pains came back. It was really scarey and not worth it.
