Does anybody have some advice for me?I lost some weight about 3 weeks ago, and now I've gained it all back again!!! The reason I fell off the horse is because my hours at work have increased, so I can't get to the gym as often as I'd like, and I work at a fast food place, so on my breaks, it's fast food! I don't have my license yet, so I can't drive anywhere else for a break! I don't want to quit working there cuz the ppl are really nice, and I need the hours to save for university. ARG!!!X-(

I work fast food at nights too and I really studied our nutrition guide and found if I left out cheese and Mayo and fries I still had options like grilled flatbread sandwhich ( no cheese no sauce) hamburger,Grilled chicken (no mayo) salads yogurt ect. I have actually lost 16lbs since I started working there.
I agree with crickett.. also I would add that you could alway bring in your own food to eat.

I have some advice for you! Pack your own lunch! Make salads or slice fruit ahead of time and pack them in disposable plastics. That way if you are running late for work they will already be ready for you in the fridge to just grab and go. I dont have money to join a gym either, but walking is free! Even if you just was for 10 minutes 3 times a day you are getting in exercise. Maybe you get a 10 minute break - Walk. If your lunch is 30 eat for 10 and walk for 20. Even if its just down the street or around the building. Make up your mind to resist fast food! You can do it! Dont let your job stand in the way of your personal goals! Keep trying!
Hi Talula.... I agree with the others.... healthy up what you are eating or pack your own lunch. When I worked at the university, the employees got to eat at the cafeteria for free, but because they always seemed to have really fattening fried or "gravied" up things, I started packing my lunch. That way I knew what I was having and knew there weren't any "hidden" calories in my food. It worked great for me!
Good luck to you.... it's nice that you have people that you like working around you. Sometimes that isn't the case and that makes it hard to go to work everyday! Take care.....
