I still can't tell the difference when looking in the mirror but no matter what--- I have lost 12 pounds!!!

I know what you mean....I lost a good 15lbs before my hubby noticed my bottom was shrinking! :D Your scale is not lying! Good for you! :)

Keep up the good work Melissa. Before long,
you will drop down a size in clothes and that will give you even more motivation.

Neptune's right. Your scale is lying. Just keep going. I've lost 12 pounds also, and I feel lighter but haven't noticed a change in the mirror. But since we see ourselves everyday we may not ever really notice it until we compare before and after pictures. Keep up the good work!! You're doing great. :)

Remember, it takes 6 weeks for your skin to shrink down, so you will continue to get smaller for another month. Isn't that inspiring?

Yeh! great job Melissa. It took me 15 lbs to notice also so 3 more lbs :D :D

It took longer than that for me. I was 226 for so long, and seen a big diff when I got to 170 after Haley was born, (long story if you haven't already heard it, but won't go into it) but when I lost more, it was hard to tell until I lost about 20 more. Then I could really see the diff. Everybody is diff, and we all have diff shapes, and we exercise diff. I'm so happy for your 12 lb loss. That is great. You will start seeing the diff. I know you have to a little in your clothes. Keep up the great work.

I started the diet about 3 weeks ago. Maybe 3 and a half...but it was before I started my journal.
I cut out the junk food that's fattening and eat carrots and veggies instead.
I love having subway sandwiches because they taste great even without the oil and cheese.
I just haven't been exercising much. :(
I really need to tone up my tummy.
