Hey guys.
I know I kinda disappeared a few days. I'm not gonna post those last couple days, except I will post yesterday.


02-18-01:
Breakfast - 1 hashbrown from Mcdonald's
Lunch - 3/4 of a sundae with only hot chocolate syrup
Snack - Two lollipops
Dinner - 2 pieces of meat, peas
Desert - Tapioka(sp?) pudding with whip cream


I was gone from 8:10AM til 6PM, going on buses and walking around the mall. Stopped at home once to get more money for one more bus trip. Whew..I believe I lost 2-3 lbs. This morning I weighed myself. 152-153 lbs. Yay!!


Today was off to an alright start as well.
02-19-01:
Breakfast - Part of a carrot orange SoBe drink, chewed on the end of a strawberry twizzler but swallowed the juice I had made in my mouth and put the rest in the garbage.
Snack - 3 tictacs
Lunch - Hamburger with just ketchup, lemonade
Snack - 2 pecan caramel clusters, one small mouthful of lite whip cream, foldger's caramel groove
Dinner - Minute steak, instant mashed potatoes(gross), biscuit w/ butter, cooked carrots


I walked down by the lakefront today. I'd say it was 1 1/2 miles or so.

Good work Angel keep it up. If that twizzler was in my mouth I would have swollowed the whole thing with the juice. ;)

Normally, I would've eaten the whole twizzler, but I decided not to and wait til later. I was watching the news the other night. They found out that when you eat alone you tend to eat less than when you eat with groups of people. If you're distracted by something, like loud music, tv, or people, you tend to lose track of what you're eating. Anyone else see that show?

I'm sorry that I kinda disappeared. The day I was at the mall, I didn't come online at all. I forgot what I ate the days before that, heh. I think I let myself go a little bit yesterday. :(
Well, here we go.


02-20-01:
Breakfast - 2 bites of a banana
Snack - 1 can of orange soda, iced tall caramel macchiato
Lunch - 3 breadsticks from Rocky Rococo's, cherry coke
Snack - 1 m, 1 small chocolate heart, 2 bites of a banana
Dinner - Not even half a bowl of horrible potato cheese soup(had bacon and other stuff in it, i hated it), 1 1/2 rolls
Dessert - Strawberry shortcake w/ whipcream

Lunch - Hotdog, french fries(not too greasy), corn, choc. milk, 2-3 chips
Snack - 1 root beer
Dinner - Hamburger, french fries, beans

It looks like you are getting your portions under control, but I would like to offer a friendly observation....there are no fruits or veggies in your plan. For health reasons, you might want to consider putting more of them in to replace some of the sugary stuff. I hope you don't mind my input. Good luck!

Well sinse you are a teenager I think its ok to eat like this sometimes. But hon you know what you need to eat. I think you may just need to pick a day and PORK OUT!! the rest of the week just eat what you have been taught is healthy eating. You are a teen so just have fun okay :D

Thanks for your advice. The way I see it is, first I get the portions under control, then I eat what I really should be eating. I know I need more fruits and veggies, but we don't have many around the house. I couldn't find those luna bars either *sigh*. Wonder if I woulda liked that..
I think I should eat healthy everyday(easier said than done..) becuz if I had a day to pig out, I would gain all of it -and more- back, which I really don't need. At school I try to eat the least I can usually.

Lunch - Peas, 2 pear slices, piece of bread, choc. milk
Snack - (Why did my friend have to offer!)McRib sandwich from Mcdonald's, fries, orange drink stuff, 4 Halls Defense(strawberry)
Dinner - 2 slices of pepperoni pizza, orange-pineapple juice(becuz my throat hurt)

Not good... 8-|

Darnit it..02-23-01 was a bust.
Breakfast - About 4 jello squares
Lunch - Chicken sandwich w/ BBQ sauce, chips, choc. milk
Snack - Waaaaaaay too much..
Dinner - Fried fish, french fries, 2 cups of regular coffee w/ lots of milk and sugar

Bad day. :eek:

Snack - 1 cert's breath mint
Lunch - Small order of fries
Snack - 1 can of peach babyfood stuff
Dinner - Almost all of a half meatball sub, white milk

My sister told me if you eat barely anything, it slows your metabolism so when you do eat more, you can't burn it off. Why?! This is so hard to do.. :(

I think that happens because your body thinks you are starving yourself. So it goes into a sort of "survivor" mode, trying to burn as little fat/calories as possible.

Looking at what you're eating, I don't see how you're losing any weight, so your portions must be *really* small. The thing with fruits and veggies is that you can eat enough to make you feel full without a ton of calories.
