As i'm getting older it is getting harder to drop the weight and I work so hard at it.I have changed how I eat to the point that I am bordering on being a vegetarian. I only eat fish and eggs but have been unable to lose the pounds. I am exercising as well and have changed and improved my exercise routine. My friend has been using Stop Cal for a month and has dropped 15 pounds and at this point I feel like it too.

maybe you could share your age/height/weight and a sample day for us? What do you do for exercise? How much are you looking to lose?
Thanks.

So how old is "older"? Yes, as we get older we tend to become more sedentary, and of course we lose muscle mass. When I was twenty I road a bike 20 miles with no trouble, and when I wasn't doing that I was doing something else active. Of course I could drop the salad dressing and lose 8 pounds a week (poetic license), Now, I'm 50. A year and a half ago I had a hysterectomy. I've also experienced a depression in the last year. And did I mention stress!X-( I'm happy I'm here to keep trying, and lucky I only experienced a setback with my weight.
I figure it took me years to get where I am. I'm not looking for a quick fix. I want a happy life. I've decided losing weight will help me to have fewer health problems now and in the future.
It was just on the news this morning! Consumers should be skeptical of weightloss claims. They are exagerated, out right lies, and possibly deadly. There is no easy fix. Keep working toward a healthy diet, of less food, and increase your exercise.

Hi, I wonder if a more balanced diet would help. I may not have the most conventional of thought, and I am also trying to lose weight, but just eating fish and eggs?
Chicken can also be an excellent source of protien, also I have heard that walking (or moving) 10,000 steps or more can eliminate the "right" kinds of calories. How much do you weigh? How much do you want to lose, and at what rate? Those all all questions to ponder.
I am talking to a friend about a new program, she lost like 21 lbs since March. I will add more as I go through it, and maybe if it works for me, you might want to do it too. I am fast approaching 50.

You might want to check into the amount of carbohydrates you are eating. Carbohydrates especially the sweet or white ones break down very quickly to sugar in your blood and just as quickly to fat if the sugar in the blood is not used in physical activity. Change to high fiber carbs: whole grain, unprocessed, etc.
Protein takes is less efficiently changed to sugar and it takes longer to digest. If you increase the protein with lean alternatives: chicken, more fish, tofu etc and decrease the number of carbohydrates you consume, you may see a downward trend in your weight. (It's worth a try:) )
