Okay, to start, I lost 30 kilos, from 105 to 75kg, if you want to read the whole story go here (http://www.chaoscitadel.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.pl?s=3d8c9e242c95ffff;act=ST;f=2;t=1602;st=0) .
If you look at the photos you won't notice this, but anyway.
In fact I think 75kg is okay for my height, 1.8, but I've still got some problem areas.
First, my thighs, I think they're too fat, but that's not the biggest problem, if you know a good way to work on that please tell me anyway.
The biggie is, yeah, my stomach is pretty flat and everything, I've got a lot of stamina, nice muscles on my arms etc, but IMO I've got way too much facial fat! It really doesn't suit the rest of ma body. I don't have a double chin or anything, and it's not as fat as before, but you can often clearly see this 'line' surrounding the cheeks, and I think that's really ugly.
Then, this is a really weird problem, especially for a man, lol, but what's the internet for, I will never have to face any of you ;), you know when you're really fat you get kind of, *cough* breasts, and here again I've got the problem that I clearly lost almost all of it, but I seem to have little tips of fat there, and so my *cough* nipples are a bit bigger as usual, and I don't find that very turning on ;)

So, do you have any ideas how I could solve those problems?
Are there any techniques to get rid of fat on the thighs, should I do more chest excercises, and is there a way of losing facial fat?
Please help :)

In case I get enough replies I could upload some more photos.

Michael out.

Hi Michael,

Wow, what a story! Congrats on your weight loss! About your face, I think it looks much thinner, and I don't see what you mean by it looking fat at all. Like you said, you probably need to start weight training to firm up a bit, since you lose muscle along with fat. Unfortunately, you can't spot reduce, which means you can't get rid of fat in specific places, like the thighs. We all lose in different places first, depending on our genetics, but eventually the weight will come off everywhere. Are you still planning on losing more weight, or are you just maintaining now? 66lbs is quite an accomplishment! Well, the only thing I can suggest is trying to build more muscle, and then maybe try to lose those few extra pounds of fat through cardio (jogging.) Maybe others will have better suggestions for you.

Good Luck!

Hi Michael,

I have a couple of questions. #1 how old are you? #2 how long has it been since you lost the 30 kg?

If you are under 25, the fullness in your nipples could be due to hormonal changes. You may just have assumed that it was due to excess weight and it wasn't until you dropped the weight that the fullness became evident. This is very common for young men and it will just flatten out in time. If you are over 25, you may want to check with your physician.

I lost 30 kilo in one year. At the end of the year I had a passport photo taken. The following year I maintained, with no significant change in my weight. At the end of the second year I had a new passport photo taken. After comparing the 2 photos it was obvious that my face lost weight during the second year in spite of the scale staying put. It will take a while for your body to rearrange. You just have to be patient.

In the mean time keep up the exercise.

Many thanks for your replies!

IRT Yatravn,
that's probably because those photos have been strategically well taken ;)
And yeah I began jogging now, I hope that'll help in the long run! (hah, double meaning ;) )

IRT emilyrose,
those are good ideas, I could go swimming more often and start playing tennis again! And I'll keep an eye open for those facial exercises.
Heh, I probably never met your cousin, I'm living near Dortmund, that's faaar away from Hamburg (yes you spelled it right :D )

IRT Lizi
#1, you might have noticed, I'm still pretty young compared to most of you guys, 16 years.
#2 not long, maybe one or two months, and now I'm trying to lose some more weight, cause I'm still not quiet happy, but if it doesn't work I don't care, my current weight is quiet okay IMO.

Okay, so you think it'll work out in time, that would be very cool, of course I'll keep up the exercise either way : )

Apart from that, thanks for being so nice, I'll probably stick around here for a while :)

Micheal -- you've made impressive progress and hopefully you've learned enough to stay strong and healthy as a lifelong habit.

We all know about being fat in all the wrong places -- that's why we are here!!!

Anyway, my latest WL technique includes weight training. I've never felt stronger and better in my life and at twice your age plus a few years that's saying alot.

So here is a great website that shows some good weight training exercises. If you don't have all the equipment don't worry -- I don't either. Just pick the exercises that adapt to what you have. This site gives you video clips of proper form. Look at the rest of the site for tips on frequency and repitition etc. The videos are great because they show you the right techniques. Here you go:

Wow, that's a really great page, and I do have most of the equipment used there, thanks a lot :)
