Hey guys (and grils ;) ),
I'm gonna copy and paste my 'success story' from another forum to here. I already posted a link once, but some people had problems viewing it and that topic was actually about something else. So, here goes:
-----
Y'know, when I first came to this forum I was reallly fat, I hate talking about that time but anyway. Had as good as no social life and everything was in fact going down hill. I weighted 105kilos!!! But one day I just thought: "Hey what the hell am I doing, I don't want to spend my whole life like this! I gotta do something about it!"
At that time 2 of my closer friends (wladi and jens) began to work out, and since I had nothing to lose (and nothing important to do anyway) I just joined them. Every sunday or saturday we ran a few rounds around our citiy's football field (I could only make 2 and a half rounds max!), I tried push ups (could do about 2, haha) and situps. I realised sit-ups were rather easy for me, so I started doing it regularly, about every second day or so. It's good for losing weight cause you sweat much but I don't suggest doing it anyway because it can be bad for your back. Then I bought some stuff from a fitness shop, a 11kg dumbbell and an expander (a rather cheap one though). Very soon, already after a few weeks I noticed a very big effect, I lost about 5 kilos at once, I heard it's because of liquid-loss, but anyway.
After some time Jens Wladi and I stopped meeting regularly and then did everything on our own. So I searched for more methods of losing weight. When I was online I remembered that cheap commercial from Billy Blanks, Tae-Bo. I was like what the hell and gave it a try. I gotta tell you it's great, it's fun, not too hard and it makes you feel a lot better afterward, then I also bought a punching bag. After some months I weighted about 90 kilos, quiet a success, 15 kilos. That was when people began noticing a change about me.
But of course I wanted more (or less?), but I just didn't lose more weight. It was then that I noticed I didn't really change my way of eating, I still ate a few sweets a day and ate a lot for breakfast and evening meal, so I slowly reduced that until I was only eating when it was really nessecary, I got used to that pretty quickly, after some time, again I lost 5 more kilos. (it's weird, I always had these cool numbers, lol)
Well well, very cool, many people (especially girls) started walking up to me saying: "hey cool, you lost a lot of weight, great work! How did you do that? Blah blah.." LoL, many people actually became jealous.
I was still not satisfied with my looks though, so I started jogging 2 or 3 times a week for 20-30 minutes. It worked wonders and when the summer vacations began I only weighted 75 kilos (and still do, lost 30 kilos, not bad eh?).
So, that's my weight loss story so far, the only thing I want to do know is earn money so that I can go to a gym, since when you lose weight you also lose muscle mass. I mostly payed attention to my arms when working out so I'm pretty strong but still not completely happy (but definitely satisfied) with the rest of my body.
Now to the positive effects of all this:
I got a great social life now, I can go to parties, fool around with girls (har har) instead of going there and attracting disgusted looks. I got lots of new friends (many many girls, hehe) because they asked me about how I lost weight etc. I can wear really cool clothes now, go to lakes to go swimming without embarassing myself.
And most important, i feel a lot better, I'm much happier with myself, it's healthier and so on and so on, it's pretty much a different life, (but I can still combine the internet with it).
This was me when I weighted about 95 kilos (or more, can't remember):

and that's me now, a pity you can't compare the tummies, hehe.

Guys, it's not that hard, I didn't have to change my whole life to lose weight, in fact, losing weight changed my life (hey sounds like a commercial)
PS: In addition I'd like to thank Quigo for showing me some cool training techniques and kudos to all my friends who've been supporting me!

Apart from that I'd like to add: You have to fight together with your body, not against it! :)
