I do, its only twenty, but that seems so far away some days. I've tried the gym and that hasnt worked for me. Now I'm on a jogging program that seems to be working out (no pun intended) just because I dont feel like I'm spending half of my life exercising. I have found with other types of exercise, you have to do so much to get almost nowhere. I'm trying to focus on the way I feel instead of how much I weigh. We'll see how that works out. Hang in there everyone!!!!

Hi!
I've got to lose between 50-60 so I can understand what you're going through. Good luck to you!

Apparently this isnt one of the more commonly used forums. But I know I need the support just as badly as the next person. We need to stick together.

Absolutely! I can remember being 300lbs and thinking, " if I only had 20 or 30 lbs to lose, I'd never complain!" PU-LEEZE! I need to lose 35lbs (ish) and I swear they are harder to lose than the first 205 were!
The weight just doesn't want to budge, I hit plateaus for weeks and weeks now.
I can use the support to reach my goal. It seems so far away sometimes, and what's worse, I have more poor eating days now than I had before?

Hi everyone. :wave:I have around 35 left too. I can relate to the fact that the last part is hard to lose.

Donna, is the Fayetteville you live in near Chambersburg. I live in Gettysburg..I know I recently went thru a city by that name.... have you reevaluated your program recently? Maybe you need to adjust your calories because of your exercise..or maybe it is the choices of food. Maybe you need to shake them up a bit. HOws your water intake?

There are lots of challenges you can get involved in.. or start a new thread here for support. Keep on posting everyone. It really helps to keep the motivation going. :x

Yes Lindasue, my Fayetteville is just outside Chambersburg :)

I KNEW someone was going to tell me I should look at my calorie intake! I hate the idea of dropping them, but I know deep down it's time to "shake things up" a bit. I already change up my workout routine every 6 weeks to keep it fresh and motivating, but my eating could be "cleaner" and I probably will have to adjust my calories to create a deficit.
It would be so much easier if I just didn't love the taste of food so much! :)

i wish more people posted in the under 100 forum. i only have a few pounds to go to reach my goal but boy is it a struggle to get them off. this spring i came close to my goal weight but gained 5 lbs over the summer. i took them off in aug. but gained a bit in sept. i seem to be going back and forth but not hitting my goal weight. is anyone else close to their goal but finding it harder the closer they come?

I'm not as close to my goal weight as I'd like to be, but it is so much harder to lose weight now than it was 100lbs ago!
I always told myself I'd never be one of those people that allowed themselves to hit a plateau, but I seem to live on one! I stagger my calories, I adjust my exercise routine every 6 weeks, but I seem to have more "bad eating days" now than I did ever before. :c(

I'm really hoping to get the pounds moving down this winter. I was on such a wonderful downhill roller coaster for so long, I assumed I'd ride it all the way to my goal, but the ride has stopped about 30lbs short! :(

Hi Donna,
Congratulations on a wonderful loss! l have always heard those last 10, 20 or 30 pounds were tough. Hang in there, you'll get there:) I wish l could offer some advice, but l am just starting out (again) myself, so l am still trying to figure what it's going to take for me to get to my goal this time.

I have about 35 pounds left to lose. I want to be under 200 lbs, but everyone says I should stop sooner. We'll have to see. If I set my goal low, then I can always stop right? :)
