i am so sore i just wanted to ask to see if someone has had this problem i went walking 3 miles yesterday but i get back and my ribs are sore and my lower tummy hurts to and my bum.. i am finding it very hard to breath like someone is sitting on my chest.. i dont understand it i was fine be4 when i did this.. but i did power walk and was breathing heavy.. could that be it?
Could be... did you work up to a powerwalk or did you just go out and do a powerwalk?
If your not use to the exercise, then that could be the reason why your sore but you need to be careful for other reasons since your feeling like someone is sitting on your chest. I would have your heart checked out by your doctor.. just to make sure.

i think my hearts fine i should get it check sometime.. but the reason it feels like someone is on my chest is because i cant breath as i usually can cuz when i do my ribs hurt when i breath in making it harder to breath what i did was i went slow and worked up to a power walk i havent excersied in a bit i did it not last week but the week be4 i did it twice and i didnt have any problems but i wasnt power walking either i think i push myself way to much..my mother-in-law and hubby tell me not to push myself to hard but i dont listen.. i always overdue things..maybe i should tone down just a little bit?

I think you should slow down and don't over do. Our bodies have to adjust to the new things that is happening to it. Maybe try a mile and a slow mile at that and work your way up. I don't exercise everyday, I try to get it in every other or at least 3 times a week. I know my body was in [-X don't do this to me what are you doing here.... I was also very sore starting out and it takes time..We did not gain this weight over night and we cant make it come off over night either...( would be nice) but it wont happen that way so don't kill yourself starting out....:rose:

But don't slow down too much. Your body will fight you every step of the way if it thinks it is working harder. You and your mind can do more then your body wants you too;)

Push too much and you can have a heart attack. You can also experience chest pain and difficulty breathing due to exercise induced asthma (I have that). There's a reason you should have a check up before starting an exercise program...your health! You are supposed to start slowly and work up to excersing over several weeks. Try slowing down a little. When you walk, you should be able to talk in a normal voice. If you can't, you are overdoing. Take care...we want you around!
