Just wanted to introduce myself as I am just getting acquainted with the site!

I am currently not on any particular diet, but I have been trying to moderate my food and I have been off soda for 3 weeks now (I was a Dr. Pepper addict)

I am going to be looking for some low impact exercise videos today. I love the Richard Simmons ones, mostly because of the music. I still can't do the entire workout, but I am increasing my time by about 5 minutes a week.

I am a SAHM and now that school has started, I have no excuses not to get up off my butt and get healthy!

Look forward to meeting everyone! :)

Sounds like you've started off on the right foot and with the right mind set. I'm a college student myself and I actually find it easier to control my eating when I'm at school as opposed to work (there arent any treats sitting around for me to eat.) I also have a similar goal....but I have found that my goals and diet plans change now and then. I have to readjust every so often, just so I can keep my focus. If you find that you're in a slump and you're starting to give up, take a step back and reevaluate what you arent getting from your current program that you want. (Of course, chocolate and chips and Dr. Pepper dont count for what you want) And treat yourself to the junk once in a while. It wont kill your diet if you do it in moderation. That's my problem. Moderation doesnt seem to be in my vocabulary. *L* But hang in there and if you need to talk, my email address is kisster65@hotmail.com
