just wondering what are some of the meals everyone eats. i'm getting bored with chicken, chicken, and more chicken 8-}

What do you like besides chicken? I haven't crossed off any foods. I believe in moderation, portion control, reading lables ect... You name it, I will find a way to eat it.
I see we are both from AZ. I am in L.H.C. I cook alot on the grill too. From chicken or beef kabobs. Porkchops, pretty much anything. I do plan ahead. I may be cooking for the family one meal and then make soup for me. I always eat what I am in the mood for too. Could be a frozen veggie pizza to cereal! Pasta, to veggie burgers. You might want to check out the recipie board for ideas.

So true! We hit 110 today. But you know it's a DRY heat! LOL Drinking water is NOT a problem for us. :(

Did you find some other ideas besides chicken? Do you cook, buy frozen meals? No drive thrus right? I will always find a way to eat the things I like. If I want icecream lots of fat free brands that taste good. Yup, even got use to veggie burgers!

I love making Swordfish, Marlin & Shark on the grill. Some times I make kebobs with them, using onions, peppers & mushrooms in between the pieces of fish. I also do Shrimp & Scallop kebobs the same way. I'm making myself hungry! :laugh:

HI...

I too eat what I want. What I do, is decide in the morning what I am going to have for dinner. Then I go to the Dietwatch diary...punch in my what it will cost me in cals and make up for it in other departments. eg. yesterday I put bacon bits in my rice and vegetables, so last night I had an apple for a snack instead of my popcorn!!

the day before I had a fruit explosion muffin for a snack...so gave up my lunch and had my fruit with my muffin!

I am eating whatever I want, give and take just like in real life!!!

Isn't it great! Eat what we want! What a concept. :o I do the same thing. I CHOOSE what I want. Before I just ate anything.

A diet should contain at least 10 calories per pound of your ideal body weight. Say you wanted to be 120 pounds. You should be eating at least 1,200 calories every day. Of course there are alot of other factors that come into play. What you are eating, exercise ect... but when you eat certain foods often enough, you will know the calories, fats, by heart.

We are on the right track! :)

Hi Vicki, I got your message. L.H.C. Is Lake Havasu City. Ask anyone where they put the London Brige, that's us! Of course it is a weird thing to have here in the desert, but they wanted to get people to visit and it worked. Next to the Grand Canyon, we are the second largest tourist attraction. The draw though is the Lake. Sooooo many boaters come here to use our lake.
