hey...i really need some help. i am 14 and weigh 260 pounds. i don't know what to do with myself...can someone please assist me...i cant afford to gain any more weight. thanks SO MUCH!:D

View Full Version : help happy201 01-01-03, 10:37 PM hey...i really need some help. i am 14 and weigh 260 pounds. i don't know what to do with myself...can someone please assist me...i cant afford to gain any more weight. thanks SO MUCH!:D sooz 01-01-03, 11:20 PM hi happy, you have come to the right place for advice..i suggest you register at www.fitday.com to keep track of your eating and your exercise and your weight...eat three small meals a day starting with breakfast..and 2-3 snacks...also, work up to walking an hour a day and alternate that with whatever other sports or exercise you like, say biking or doing videos..dont let your calories drop below 1200.. a sample day's menu might be breakfast: cereal like oatmeal or raisin bran w non fat milk and sweetener mid morning snack: banana lunch: turkey breast sandwich on whole wheat bread w low fat mayo, lettuce, tomato carrot sticks, or other raw veggies you like an apple or orange glass of non fat milk afternoon snack: non fat yogurt and another fruit dinner: 4 ounce serving of lean meat baked potato the size of your fist 1 tsp butter veggies glass of non fat milk evening snack: 2 rectangles of chocolate graham crackers or a piece of whole wheat toast w light smear of peanut butter with a glass of non fat milk also drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, more if you can good luck, let us know how you are doing and if you have other questions.. frog 01-07-03, 10:08 PM i have always found it useful to and effective to drink water instead of soda it may not sound like much now but after a few months it will add up!
