I made it through my whole exercise video and I didn't pass out!
I have been walking with a buddy too , but when she is busy I do the exercise video! I was brave and bought one of THOSE exercise outfits, shut the blinds and really gave it my all! I did it! The outfit doesn't look as bad as I thought it would! I have new motivation. Vacation is in 30 days! I can't wait! I will be thinner by then, then when I get back I can keep going!
Jen, I know how you feel! When I make it all the way through my Denise Austin video, I want to call everyone and let them know that I am still alive!

exercise? i walk three miles each morning 6 days a week, last week I didn't lose an oz. If fact I gained. How discouraging that is. What to do?? Does anyone know?

Swede - How many weeks has no loss been going on? If this is the first or second week I'd attribute it to maybe gaining muscle, or retaining water, or that time of the month. If it's been going on for a while, how is your food intake? Maybe increase your distance/time to change your exercising a bit. Possibly add ankle or wrist weights. Sometimes your body can get use to the same exercise and you won't see the same type of results you do in the beginning when it's 'new'. Try to shock your body by trying a different exercise a few times a week or increase your speed and/or distance when walking. Hope this can give you a few ideas. I know it can get frustrating...
Got on the scale this morning - what the heck right? lost 2 more pounds (It has been 3 weeks since I have seen any results!). Now I wish I hadn't fallen last week. The poounds were coming off! Dang! This is motivation (and a learning experience!)WELL HERE I GO AGAIN!
(Can I hack this for 76 more pounds?) How frustrating!

Thanks Joanne - Don't get discouraged yourself! I don't know what you will do at work. Just hang in there! I just made it through my stress week at work. Talking to my boss helped. (It would have been my stress week no matter what, if you know what I mean)
I'll keep going! I am going to try to exercise 5 times this week. Our vacation is only 3 weeks away.
Jen, you seem like you are really going for it well done! I've been to the Gym twice this week, no slip ups on the food front yet but desperately miss chocolate, crisps, chips cake.... need I go on? My husband has just mad me a lovely salad oh joy! will I get through the day without succombing to the apple pies and chocolate rolls in the cupboard? Can I have some of your motivation please?
