I have lost 27 1/2 lbs by exercising 30 min 2ce a day every day;I drink about 48-50 oz water a day;limit my calorie intake to 1200-1500(closer to the 1500) a day,and I have a food journal where I write down EVERYTHING that I eat. My problem is for the last 6 days I haven't lost anything and I've been doing all of these things!I have been loosing an average of 3lbs a week. Does anyone know what I can do to get over this plateau?I still have 75 lbs to go!Thankyou!

Add a weight lifting routine 3 times a week for 30 min to an hour and alternate with aerobics. Muscle burn more calories even when your sitting watching tv. Sometimes a change jolts the system and resumes the weight loss. Best of luck to you, You can do it!

stevekimj..
thanks for your reply.Believe it or not,I just finished a 20 min handweight routine that I cut out of WW mag!Now I'm more motivated than ever to continue with it because of your suggestion. Thankyou!
The advice to alternate your workout was correct. Don't want your body to get too use to what you are requiring of it. One time I did stop losing completely for a month though I continued to eat healthy and work out daily. The over weeks 5 & 6 I lost 12lbs. So don't despair. Though on the scale you may not think anything is happening your body may just be readjusting to the new weight. You will start losing again. Stick with it and don't let it get you down, that can lead to overeating. You are doing great!
