Garooovey! I got on the scale and lost 3 pounds in just what......8 days of low fat eating! Not bad. I am not counting my calories, nor anything but FAT grams....and i have been keeping myself super busy so i dont think about snacks etc.
I cant eat as much....so it seems to be working out..and no cravings. When on atkins..i craved everything i am not allowed to have...on this..not one craving yet.

that is so great! im counting fat grams and am losing 1/2 lb a day. staying around 20. this really seems the best way to go for me.

I discarded the Atkins too, and I am so much happier and feel so much better. I don't feel limited, because just about everthing comes in low fat or fat free. I do have a little sugar, like in fat free cool whip or yogurt, but I use artificial sweetner in my cereal and iced tea etc. I think that even doing low fat we need to be cautious about the empty sugar calories. I did eat black licorice sometime and Keebler choc. grahams once in a while when I did low fat once before. I don't count carbs. I just keep in mind that I can't go carb-crazy! Maybe three choices a day.......:tomato:
