I'm in the midst of reading this book, and it makes a lot of sense - primarily focuses on the metabolic and hormonal processes that take place to help, or stop us, from losing weight, based on what we consume and the kinds of exercise we do.

Anyway, the thing is that though the book is very good and easy to read, there's no "sum-up" chapter that lists all the specific steps/advice from all the chapters ... so I'm wondering if anyone is following this and has organized all the suggestions in their brain and has a workable plan that they use each day.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks! Yeah, that's what I ended up doing ... it's just a real slog to find the highlights, because there's a lot of biological/scientific stuff. But, very enlightening!

I started reading it and I just couldnt get through it. I found it to be a little too scientific for me. I know, I should have realized that that's what it would be, but I got about twenty pages in and realized I had no clue what I had just read. When I'm reading for school and I'm having a hard time getting it to sink in I find reading out loud to myself helps.
