I thought I'd ask . . . for those of you who are making significant progress toward your goals. What are the 1 or 2 key things that you feel are getting the job done for you?

Cantina, The biggest thing that works for me is to take one day at a time working on my goals. If I concentrate on the day at hand it helps me not to become overwhelmed in anyway. I utilize that in all areas of my life and not just weight..... the second thing would be not to deprive myself of any foods that I really feel I'm hungry for. Having a single portion size of whatever it is seems to keep me from having an all out binge. I guess I am lucky in that small amount satisfies me and helps me not to become focused on whatever that particular food was. Thanks for the thought provoking thread.....

the biggest things that work for me, well, exercise, definitely, finding something i love to do for an hour or so. 2-eating healthy and making things better for myself. 3-definitely all that water that, fortuneately i love 4-getting over feeling guilty if i eat something i think i probably shouldnt have had, like last night, i ate mcdonalds fries an extra large one, and i didnt feel any guilt at all, upped some exercise, and tried to keep the rest of the day filled with fruits and veggies. good luck, and ill see you at the finish line,
