My hubby, bless his little "normal eater heart", will often buy goodies because they are on sale. He says "why do you buy an expensive pint of ice cream to eat when I can get a gallon on sale and you can have it whenever you want." He just doesn't get it, does he? Ice cream (or anything else for that matter) that is on sale has the same amount of calories. Calories don't go on sale and my body wouldn't know the difference anyway! So I would rather pay more for the Ben & Jerry's pint than have a gallon off-brand sale item in the house. Anyway, that is just me. I don't expect this to apply to everyone. You said it, I use to be really bad about buying junk on sale, I would buy two ice creams or whatever because they were buy one get one free. Now I usually don't even buy the first one. I agree, I would rather have a little bit of really good stuff than alot of the so so stuff.
