I'm sure I posted something a few days ago concerning my bad experience with the calculators. Now I have no idea which board on which I posted it. The calculator really had me bummed. I've lost about 30 pounds since January, but according to the calculator I have about 40 more to go. I know it is totally unrealistic as a goal for me. Has anyone else noticed that those things seem to be set for the anorexic models that are in the fashion magazines.

Ginny, I remember your post and I'm not sure where you posted from either. But you can do a search if you look at the top of the post page where it says "post reply" or "new topic".... underneath that you'll find a "search". You can search out different posts that way. It's a nice feature since the boards have gotten so big. But I wouldn't put to much stock on what the calculators say. I think it's all a matter of each person and their bone structure, age, height and a number of things that the calculators just don't ask. I think it was John that replied to your last post and said that you should ask your doctor if you want a healthy accurate goal weight. Take care and good luck to you. Don't let someone elses numbers get you down. 30 pounds lost is a great accomplishment!!! Keep on doing what you are doing - it's obviously working!
