Today is the first day of month two for me and I got on the scales this morning and found myself 20 lbs lighter than I was last month! HOORAY! I also begin a new regimen today, dancing for 20 minutes in the morning and walking or toning in the afternoons for 15. This month I hope to see a ten lb loss and plan on investigating the fat g's thing and incorporating it better into the plan. So far I have been keeping my cholesterol down below 200 and my calories below 2000 and just recording my fat intake. Anybody know of any good reading material on this topic? Anyway, thanks y'all for all the help and encouragement! God bless!

Robbie you are doing awesome..I love that you have incorprated dancing into your exercise. So fun...I was just gonna suggest you might get some small dumbells too and strenthen and tone also never too early to tighten and tone
and when all that extra fat is gone you will have some marvelous muscle under there..
I am so happy for you when I first started I lost 10 pounds the first month wish that could have gone on forever...Can't wait to see further results from ya.. :)

Robbie, I can recommend some good books. One is called Low Fat Living http://www.lowfatliving.com from the publishers of Prevention Magazine. Another is any book or tape by Covert Bailey www.covertbailey.com (http://www.covertbailey.com) he wrote Fit or Fat and also Fit or Fat Woman..he also has an excellent tape series called Total Body Power. Another good book for women is Outsmarting the Female Fat Cell by Waterhouse www.amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com) . You can also get these materials at your local book store I believe ..possibly with the exception of the Covert Bailey Tapes. Hope this helps, sooz

The book Eat Right, Live Longer by Neal Barnard, M.P. is pretty good. I am an expert when it comes to counting fat grams, LOL, well, that is how I lose weight. It is a pretty good and healthy plan. Normally you would want to stick to 30-20 fat grams when losing weight and 30-40 for maintaining. The weight melts away permanently!
Good luck! :D
