I never had a weight problem until I turned 35. I have put my life on hold alot the last 13 years. On September 5th I was watching a movie about a beautiful woman who took a fat ugly woman's husband away. I stood up made my hands into fists raised them above my head and said " As God is my wittness I will NOT BE FAT AGAIN! Maybe I could be in a remake of Gone With The Wind.HaHa As of today I have lost 20lbs. It feels very good. I can eat anything I want, just not all in one day. I gave up my love affair with food, we can only be kissing cousins. I exercise 10 to 15 minutes a day, six days a week. Cut my food in half. I don't think anyone is after my husband. But if it ever happens, I'm going to be beautiful when she does it. I hope this helps, because your stories have sure helped me.

Way to go, Sharon! Welcome to DT and hope to see more of you in these rooms! I, too, just hit the 20 down mark and it feels great! My motivator was a look of disgust on my daughters face and how it made me feel and I bring it to mind every time the urge to resume my love affair with food tries to overtake my love affair with living healthy. Good luck to you and may nobody take your hubby :)

wow your approach is wonder..i can't believe you only work out 10 to 15 min that sounds so easy...lol i know it isn't..care to share some other secrets i want to lose 20 also..thanks
