Okay, (sighh) this is my first time writing. My name is Danielle. ("HI Danielle"~ha!)
Lets see..should I just fill you in on my story?
How interesting hu?
Well, about a two-three years ago I weighed about 242lbs. I was about 5'7 and only 20 yrs old.
One day I started walking and I just remember it feeling so good that I kept walking, everyday! Walking soon turned into running and running and running. Before I knew it the girl who couldn't run a lap in high school was running 3.5 miles every morning. This was such a rush for me. It became so addicting. Six months later I had weighed in and lost 20lbs simply doing what I loved. I had been so inspired by all the compliments that all my old friends and family had given me that I decided to take it one step further.
I had wanted help with my eating habbits
so I went to Jenny Craig. I lost and additional 27lbs in about 8 mos there. It wasn't easy but it was well worth all effort (looking back, of course). I have been at Jenny Craig for about a year and a month now and I am just jugglin these 5lbs. One week I lose em, next week I gain em. I am currently at 189. I would do anything to get to my goal weight of 145-150. I haven't been eating good and I haven't excersized since December. So encouragement and ideas are what I am looking for. I know everyone here is probably in the same boat one way or another. The thing is we all know it is possible to achieve but the dinger is that it takes the effort we would rather not put forth. So heres to be successful in weight loss. Not only losing weight but gaining personality and the skills to assisting others!
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
Danielle
