Lala 03-18-03, 02:57 PM When I was a teen, and hadn't been pregnant, there was one thing I did that helped me have great abs. It sounds kinda funny, but I used to suck my tummy in. All the time, it got to be a habit and just came naturally. I would walk around like that every day, and eventually I didn't have to suck in anymore, I had strengthened the muscles so that my tummy became flat. Like I said I know it sounds funny, but it worked for me!! Good luck!!! ~Lani kawaiibear 03-27-03, 04:05 AM its a fact that good posture helps your muscles strengthem therefore giving a good abs illusion......sit up straight more often- walk more upright- and also the sucking in your stomache idea is great, i do that all the time but i also do some crunches. yoga is great too.. rocky 04-14-03, 06:13 PM Hi I would just like to reply by saying that you cannot lose fat in just one area of your body. Fat is destributed throughout your body and how much fat is in one area is affected by genes. Crunches can build strenght in abdominal area but will not reduce fat in that area. Your fat might destribute more evenly when you grow. but for now cardio exercise will probably be more beneficial for you then crunches. tummyflab 04-30-03, 08:59 AM or we could buy the "invisible tummy trimmer " that they are selling on tv :D canthaveit 05-09-03, 08:42 PM I really feel your pain. I think that you should do cardio and then do crunches and stuff. And maybe a pilates class would be good becuse it works your "core (stomach back...) Hope I helped. good luck. |
