Wow,

Way back last year I was here and I tried and then....

Bang!!!

It all went south..

And I have gained a few pounds since then.

SOOOOOOOOOO...
the sunshine and lack of super huge sweatshirts and the possibility of my kids wanting to go to the beach

has brought me back here to try again.

I guess my journal is the place to sort of the whys and hows of my excessive weight gain.......

I wanted to say HI and Happy Spring and thanks everyone for still being here!

Lizbeth

PS. My daughter's docotor is pleased with her weight management. Still stemmin gof the Type 2 tide there!

Eat Less, Move More sounds good.

Have you set a time line for your goals?

Glad to be back!

funny thing about goals/ timelines...I often feel like, for me, the traditional "2 pounds by next week!!" type stuff doesn't work, some weeks I can do it, the others I can't, feel like a miserable failure, and eat like poop and get lazy!! This time around I'm being verrrry kind to myself, I have one wee goal (to be in my size 14 J Crew capris for the hot weather--I'm about 2" away from that...) but for the rest of it, I have rewards set, at 35 -massage, at 70- new clothes.. Obviously, the sooner I do it, the sooner I get the goodies!! Ideally, by fall, I'll be new and improved...?????

Really, though, the "when" doesn't matter so much, I don't think I'll have one magic day when I'll be skinny and I'll say "OKAY, I'M DONE--BRING ON THE DORITOS!!!"--this is just a new way of life (except, on that magic day, I may ease up on the exercise, like 3-5 days a week, 'stead of 5-7)

Glad to have you here, Lizbeth!!:D
