So, I'm pretty much a Non-Dieter. Yeah, I watch my intake, and monitor the foods that are "bad" but pretty much I'm a low key, easy-going kind of dieter, I'm doing this for life, so I may as well enjoy myself. I have a friend who is an Ad(t?)kins-er. She has a neighbor who just had a gastric bypass (and technically "died" on the table--YIKES!!!)--now, really, the three of us have the same end result in mind--health. But it's funny. We can't even talk to each other without our "how's" getting in the way. That just illustrates why I like Dietalk so much--yeah, we're pretty much all going about things in different ways, but we so see fit to be on the same page. It's cool, man!!!:peace:

I have noticed with real time friends who think that they see your whole life have internal jealousies of each other. Those jealousies seem to make converstations strained on certain trigger subjects.
