Recently I purchased One A Day weight smart vitamins. I would like to know if it is a good idea to take these. My first concern is that I'm 19 years old, and when I got home I was reading the package and it says "Starting in your 30s, your body's metabolism can slow down and you can gain weight." Well I'm not in my 30s and I'm not sure if this product is right for me and second I bought it because I was looking for a vitamin to take during my weight loss, but I kind of realized that it's kind of like a diet pill, which I don't want to take cause that'll mean one day getting off of it and a chance for the weight to come back. Should I take it, any suggestions?
i think taking a vitamin is not the same as taking a diet pill..a vitamin pill is like insurance that you are getting all the nutrients your body needs..the ideal is to get that from eating healthy foods..but sometimes that is difficult to do all the time..im not familiar with what is in that particular vitamin but i dont think it could hurt you or cause you to gain weight when you stop taking it..

looking at the label it has just basic vitamins, the only thing that says that helps promote metabolism is EGCG, green teen extract, chromium, niacin, and thiamin and it says on the box that it's Ephedra Free. I've never heard of the other ingredients so I don't know if there are any side affects or dangerous things to them.
