Has anyone tried the South Beach Diet, and if so what did you think? All opinions gratfully accepted.

I haven't ever heard of this diet. There are just too many "diets" out there for me to keep up with.

Looks a lot like the Carbohydrate Addicts Diet (CAD) to me. Low carb in the beginning and then adds some higher carb foods into the diet as you progress (allows for reward meals/treats).
