Hopefully someone can cure my curiosity on this one. I was talking to a friend of mine who says that when he lost 100 lbs he did it on a vinegar and garlic shot diet. Said you take a clove of garlic dice it up put it in a shot glass add vinegar to top of the shot and take that once a day with daily exercise it'll help boost your metabolism. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this and can either agree or disagree with it. Please help
thanks i dunno if the guy was pulling my leg or what. i do know garlic helps with bloodpressure so maybe it helped him lower the blood pressure to make it "easier" for him to work out not sure. thanks for the reply tho
well i'm tryin to muster up the courage to try one of these shots, but it smells sooooooooo disgusting i'm scared hehe. anyone know if vinegar in large dosages are bad for ya?
Vinegar in large shots will definitely cause liver damage.. I really think this person was pulling a fast one on your.. The easiest way to find out is have him drink one right in front of you...

If the shots worked. Everyone would be doing it and you could buy it pre-packaged in a store. Just like Healthy choice frozen meals or Diet Coke.
take that once a day with daily exercise
did you notice that part? the daily exercise is what is causing the weight loss..its like all the diet pills you can buy at the drug store..use with sensible diet and exercise..and they cause you to lose weight..ha!! try the exercise alone and see what that does...:D
My sister totally screwed up her metabolism and is VERY overweight doing crazy things like that..
She was on the vineger diet the grapefruit diet.. you name it.
I would not bother with something like that myself.

I've heard of people taking garlic and vinegar PILLS but never drinking this stuff straight....I agree with an earlier post about EXERCISE...that's the problem with so many of these diet pills and drinks...read the very fine print and it says to eat healthy and exercise too.,..and THAT'S where the weight loss comes into play.

thanks guys. the smell of one alone was nasty, but i decided what the hell took a sip and thought i was gonna puke not a fan of garlic hehe and that was over whelming, i've always been an active person just never been able to loose weight, i dun eat alot and i dunno why i dun loose it. i decided that rigorus training was being started as of yesterday and so far i've done a total of 60 mins and hopefulyl i can keep up the work thanks for the post guys hope to see you in chat sometime
Hi eminem
It was nice to meet you and had a good chat, I wouldn't advise taking the garlic and vinegar, vinegar in large doses isn't good for you like joanne mentioned earlier.
Take care
