Got an email this morning that I now have to pay $19.99 a year for the formerly free site. I hate when sites do that!
I really enjoyed that site, and found it was really useful for my goals ... part of the reason I have lost 30lbs so far. I feel lost without it.

It must be my fault. Everytime I join a free site, (except for Diettalk!!!) this happened. I only joined Calorieking last week.
Rats. I don't sign up to any that we have to pay because it seems there's always a mess with the creditcard, spending months to get charges stopped if you decide to stop.

Go try fitday.com I love it!!!
I just found out that my health plan includes some fun stuff like a web site similar to fitday. You may want to check into your insurance provider's web site to see if they also offer little goodies like that.

You know, I thought it was ME that made free sites turn into paid ones!!! :bubbles:
Another option is to find a good diet tracking program to download or load onto your hard drive. I got a free one with my new scale and there are a lot of them online. Then you don't have to be online to use them. Just a thought!
What is the name of the software you have? I would love to find something like that.

Aren't you worth $20 a year - if you really like the site, it seems a small price to pay. Why do we want everything to be free...I know I do!
Just have to put in my two cents worth...:2 Like crazy said, you might want to try fitday.com. I love it.
Whatever you do I hope you like it, that is so important in what we are doing!!!

Bertha;
It's not the $20 I'm concerned about. It's just that whenever Ipay for something ongoing with a credit card, it seems to take mountains of red tape to get the charges stopped if I decide I don't want to cdontinue/ Actually fitday is great also and it's still free. So I'll stick with that.
