Hey guys I am new and wouldn't mind having a buddy either :)

I have been stuck at 130 pounds for what seems like forever :c( after making lots of progress by counting calories and cutting portions... I feel like if it continues on much longer with no progress I am going to lose my focus! I've just started adding exercise and would help to have someone to keep in touch with to stay motivated!:D

K here goes1 hehe.. well my name's Dianna im 19 and trying to lose!! lol..

Sparklee- If you change something in your routine, you'll start losing again.. like drinking more water and adding a 30 minute walk every other day or if that's too much.. try an hour like twice a week and just make sure you get AT LEAST 6 glasses of water. But just my opinion: 130lbs isn't a lot considering your height :D

So to everyone else... let's try to post at least every other day or once a day if possible!

Thnx for that little tip Diana. Next time I come against a difficult barrier I will 'change' something in my routine. :P And Yeh Sparklee, Your weight is suitable for your height :) But you can lose some more if you like. Dont become THIN though. Slim is what we want ;)

Yeah shadowz I agree.. slim is to me a healthy weight.. like for my height I believe it's 113lbs but my goal is 115. I want to have a little extra..lol, just not as much "extra" as I have now. Where did spicee go? She wanted a buddy and here is a whole bunch of them! lol..

Hi all,
I agree with you both about being slim - i don't wanna be to thin - I have put 140 down as a goal but I'll just keep losing until i am happy with the way I look.

Thje water tip is areally good one - if you don't drink enough your weight can fluctuate as well _ i discovered that so i drink about 1.5 litres a day sometimes a litt more if I have exercised.

Water is great! But it did take a while to convert from drinking chocolate malts and soft drinks to completely water. :P Took me about 4-5 months. But now I drink only water and occasionally Milo(a choc drink) :) My goal is 130lbs which will make my BMI 22 :P a site made a study and the results showed that majority of people found those in that BMI most attractive! Interesting ^_^ Thats the reason why I chose to be that weight :) I will stop if I find I look fine a little heavier or a little lighter(give or take 5 pounds from 130lbs). :) I want to look my BEST! :P Not my skinniest! LoL! Slim is what I want to and will! achieve! LoL!

BTW! I lost 2.5 pounds since I last posted :D Im so happy! LoL!

up unitl a few days ago I was drinking doft drinks etc but I've started drinking water the last couple days and I've found I've switched of quite easily - maybe I need the water more than i realise

Great job on the loss shadowz! hehe... oh yeah i've been drinking just water every day but when my family goes out to eat at like denny's or ihop.. I let myself have a soda or shake or something because we only go out like every 2 weeks and You gotta give yourself a treat ONCE IN A WHILE... but ONLY if I have been drinking at least six glases of water everyday, If I slip up then I dont get a treat when we go out.. sort of like a punishment I guess. Since 2 weeks ago ive lost 1lb but that's with little exercise.. I stat school on tues and I have weight lifting and aerobics classes 4 times a week so I'm sure I will start losing more so I wont start stressing out just yet hehe.. K gotta go, c ya laterz!:D

Thnx Debbie and Diana ^_^ I think Its good that you let yourself have a treat once in while! If not u will feel unfulfilled. :P You should let yourself off once in awhile if u think u deserve it! And wow! Weightlifting AND aerobics! ^_^ Thats great! The pounds will slip off! :P Im just a lazy bugger. I did walk for 45 minutes today though :D LoL That makes it 3 times this week. I am going to try and keep up walking 3 times or more a week. :)

good on you for walking shadowz - its amazing how just doing it 3 times a week can help - burns off a few of those extra calories lol.

welld one on the 1lb loss dianna :) it'll soon come off with all that exercise you have in mind lol.

Well its my weigh in day tomorrow but here are my inches which i took day

thigh: 0.5 inch loss
calf: 0.25 inch loss (total of 0.5 inch loss)
Waist: 0.25 inch lost (total of 0.5 inch loss)
Hips: 0.5 inch loss
upper arm: same (total of 0.5 inch loss)
fore arm: 0.25 inch loss

That's a good idea Debbie on using mesurements instead of pounds, Sometimes you can't tell if you lost anything yet until you lose an entire lb of fat... but measurements show it all.. if you lose a little and it doesn't show on the scale, it's sure to show in the measurements... ive been using that method for about a week now and although ive only lost 1 lb, ive lost 1 in off of my abdomen already! K gotta sleep! oh yeah I drank 9 glasses of water today! I'm so proud of myself..hehe :o

wow! Thats excellent! Both of you! ^_^ Im proud of both of ya! :P I have been walking ALMOST everyday now :) But I need more dicipline :) I am going to try NOT to miss any day exercising. I must learn to love the exercise :biggrin: especially if Im gonna be losing these pounds and inches!

34.25 lbs left to get rid of! Hopefully I will be able to lose more than half of that before My birthday(11th Dec)! ^_^ Then I can eat a slice of chocolate cake without guilt! Must Remember the 4D's! I can do it! :biggrin:

Hey Shadowz - welld one on all the exercising but one tip :) don't exercise every single day pick a day that you don't exercise and call it your rest day - if you try and exercise every day especially if you haven't exercised much in the past you could b in danger of burning yourself out - take a day off - its fun lol :)

Hey guys, I finally started doing my workouts.. omg 30mins of crunches and 45 minutes of jogging/running/walking... my stomache muscles are killing me!! lol... but I guess that's how I know it's working... great job with all your loses everyone.. keep drinking water and exercising at least 3 times a week! :)
