I don't know...maybe its been so long since I've had real pasta that I've forgotten what it tastes like. It is one of the foods I try to avoid...as a recovering anorexic, I call it a "scary" food, however, I have found a nice substitute...steamed veggies like string beans, broccoli, and carrots with marinara sauce. I think it tastes almost as good as pasta and is great if you are trying to get in more veggies or limit your starches. I also discovered today that peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are even better on toast...and peanut butter is a great way to get in protein and fat too which really isn't as bad for you as people tend to think according to my nutritionist.
