Hey guys!
I thought it would be kinda cool if me and some othee people would have a little tip of the day thing, I mean like if anyone ever has any inspiring quotes or tips, they could write them down. OK..... heres my first tip for the day.....
~~~ The message from the masters (people who have lost weight and kept it off) is, "If you think you can, you will." Over and over, they describe moving from a state of hopelessness to one of self control and power. They began to believe in their own ability to take charge, and they stopped seeing themselves as passive victims of their weight.
So, how can you start believing in yourself? It helps to observe role models-- people who have struggled to master situations that you fear or see as difficult.
You could identify one person in your everyday life who is taking positive steps to be healthy and control his or her weight. That person doesn't have to be a "master"or even someone who is thin-- just someone who is trying. It could be an aquaintance you usually see mall walking, a neighbor who regularly jogs past your house, or even someone at work or school you notice are making healthy food choices. Ask the person how he or she stays motivated. Tell yourself, "If this person can do it, I can do it, too."~~~
Have a good week! ~Briana~:sweety:
